  • Patent number: 11688260
Abstract: A method and system for monitoring an offender or defendant or potential victim utilizing multi-factor location verification. In one embodiment, the multi-factor location verification method and system utilizes GPS location data and WiFi router location data, transmitted on predetermined intervals by a wearable device and a smart phone, to determine whether the wearable device and smart phone are within a predetermined geolocation. If it is determined in subsequent transmissions of location data that not all location data is within the predetermined geolocation, an alert is sent out indicating that an offender or defendant or potential victim is no longer located within the predetermined geolocation.

  • Publication number: 20220354148
Abstract: Methods and systems for reducing acrylamide concentration in heat-processed products, and products produced by such methods and systems are provided. The baked products may be sprayed with a riboflavin solution and then irradiated with a UV light source to initiate monomer reactions of acrylamide and reduce the concentration of the acrylamide in the baked product. In addition, riboflavin may be dissolved in heat-processed products, followed by irradiation of the riboflavin-containing heat-processed products with a UV light source to initiate monomer reactions of acrylamide and reduce the concentration of the acrylamide in the baked product.

  • Publication number: 20170127710
Abstract: A method of making a tastant composition may generally comprise granulating an edible carrier and a first tastant and coating the granules with a second tastant. A tastant composition may generally comprise a core including a mixture of an edible carrier and a first tastant, and a coating on the core, the coating comprising a second tastant, and optionally a binder. Each of the first tastant and second tastant may comprise sodium chloride particles. The tastant composition may provide a substitute for a conventional tastant topping with a comparable appearance, e.g., comparable particle size, color, and morphology, as well as a comparable taste profile (time v. flavor intensity), but with significantly lower tastant content.
