Abstract: A bucket stabilizing system having a base with a top surface, a side wall, a bottom surface, and an inner cavity which can be used for storage, the top surface has a diameter smaller than that of the bottom surface, a lip extends outwardly from the bottom surface past the side wall; an inner channel for accepting a bucket in a center of the base extending from the top surface toward the bottom surface; at least one access hole in the side wall for providing access to the inner cavity; a first and second rope guide notch opposite from each other at an intersection of the top surface which allow passage of rope into the inner cavity; and a first and a second tie-off hole opposite from each other at an intersection of the top surface and the side wall which allow passage of rope out of the inner cavity.

Abstract: A sampling and testing unit or bottle and method to perform presumptive testing of aqueous solutions to determine bacterial contamination if present, such testing to measure and indicate the presence of contaminants which, if in the presence of nutrients, will multiply in such a manner as to form gaseous products such as those which would be formed if the growth of same were to be a fermentation reaction with the evolution of gaseous material which would be easily observed by the positive displacement of the aqueous solution from an inverted tube or tubes incorporated into the body of the apparatus, in addition to the brilliant chromophoric confirmations tests as would be established by indicator color changes of materials incorporated in the nutrient media placed in the apparatus.

Abstract: The terrarium includes at least one glass sidewall serving as a viewing window, and a chassis formed of rigid plastic providing a bottom wall and a rear side wall. In one embodiment, the chassis includes a bottom channel formed in the bottom wall of the chassis, for mounting the glass viewing wall. In another embodiment, the glass wall is mounted to the chassis by a plastic frame member bonded to the plastic sidewalls of the chassis. The terrarium also includes a top screened closure member. In one embodiment, a channel for the closure member is formed in the upper portions of the sidewalls of the chassis, and in another embodiment, a channel for the closure member is provided by opposing F-shaped molding members fitted over opposing glass sidewalls of the terrarium.
