  • Patent number: 7753344
Abstract: A well head attachment is provided having an elongated casing or housing structure in which the tool string, including the entire cable or wire line supply, is pressurized, the housing structure being arranged to place the interior thereof in communication with the well bore in a manner whereby well pressure is equalized throughout the assembly during all operations, utilizing a unique pressure-tight adjustably articulated riser assembly with off-set pivotal radial connections for connection between the wellhead attachment and the pressurized cable-supply reel, thus the need for lengthy sinker weights, lubricators and stuffing boxes is reduced or eliminated.

  • Patent number: 6113522
Abstract: An exercise apparatus for toning the mid-section and lower portion of the body, especially helpful for handicapped individuals who have marginal or only functional use of their lower extremities on an involuntary basis whereby a physically able person or a physically challenged person manipulates a pendulum bar, freely suspended from a semi-flexible member in a quarter circular oblique movement, while strapped to the apparatus in a seated position, and whereas the flexibility of the flexible member is predetermined by design or controlled hydraulically by the user.

  • Patent number: 6030323
Abstract: A method of abdominal exercise utilizing an apparatus which includes a flexible element mounted to a seat, the flexible element having a transverse handle manipulated by a user in at least two planes when sitting on the seat straddling the flexible element. The apparatus further includes a back strap and a lap belt. The flexible element in one embodiment being a urethane column having rigidity control by vertical adjustment of the handle relative to the column. The flexible element in a second embodiment is a self-contained fluidized unit providing resistance in at least two planes.

  • Patent number: 5033864
Abstract: An apparatus for checking and monitoring a child's temperature through the use of a baby pacifier. The pacifier provides a radio signal to a receiver unit. The pacifier senses the temperature and provides a proportional frequency signal if above or below designed limits. The pacifier detects temperature variation, discriminates between normal or abnormal temperatures and automatically transmits only the abnormal high/low temperature signals to a remote radio receiving apparatus where such signals are visually displayed and audible/visual alarms are provided.

  • Patent number: 4429717
Abstract: A three-way valve for controlling the flow of semi-liquid compositions having a cylindrical valve core journalled for rotation within a valve housing, cylindrical fluid passages formed within the valve core whereby each such fluid passage has a circular knife-edge type cutting plate disposed along its outer edge for cutting solids during activation of the valve. Exemplary apparatus according to the invention includes sealing means for the valve seats which are adjustable without disassembly of the valve, and means for providing a continuous water flush across the valve seats during normal operation.
