  • Publication number: 20180303725
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to dissolvable objects that are configurable. The dissolvable objects are dissolvable in a solvent, such as water in a bath tub. The dissolvable objects are further configured to receive a seletable additive, which can be an insertion of another object and/or liquid. The present disclosure is also directed to methods of manufacturing dissolvable objects that are configurable.

  • Patent number: 9854855
Abstract: An inflation system includes a bladder incorporated into an article of outdoor gear or apparel. The bladder is incorporated into the article of outdoor gear and apparel so as to provide insulation to a user. The inflation system includes a gas canister that includes a reservoir of dry gas. A valve mechanism allows the dry gas to be used to selectively inflate and deflate the bladder to provide a desired amount of insulation.

Date of Patent: January 2, 2018
    Assignee: NuDown, Inc.
Inventors: Robert Nathan Alder, Cory Tholl, Brady Woolford
  • Patent number: 9756955
Abstract: The inflatable pad includes an inflatable frame having a length and width that defines a pad area suitable for supporting a person lying thereon. A plurality of internal support members are configured to support the weight of a person lying thereon and elevate the person above the ground. The inflatable pad includes non-supporting regions that require less fill volume than regions that support primary support regions such as the hips and shoulder.

  • Publication number: 20100083417
Abstract: A lightweight, gas-filled, highly insulative material is incorporated into an article of outdoor gear or apparel (e.g., a camping pad). The insulative material has a layered cellular structure that can be filled with an insulative gas (e.g., air or argon). The insulative material includes two or more layers of cells, which improves insulation (compared to a single layer) by reducing convection for a given thickness. Increasing the thickness without substantially increasing convection results in a better insulator and an improvement in the ability to retain heat.
