Abstract: A system and method for machine learning architecture for prospective resource allocations are described. The method may include: receiving data records representing historical resource allocations from a user account associated with a first identifier to a resource account associated with a second identifier; deriving input features based on the data records; computing, using a trained neural network architecture, a predicted resource allocation amount and a predicted resource allocation date for the predicted resource allocation amount based on the derived input features; determining, using the trained neural network architecture, a first selection score associated with the predicted resource allocation amount and a second selection score associated with the predicted resource allocation date; and when the first or second selection score is above a minimum threshold, causing to display, at a display device, the associated resource allocation amount or date corresponding to the second identifier.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling movement of a piece of railroad rolling stock within a classification rail yard. The method includes determining a predicted velocity of the piece of railroad rolling stock, and collecting at least one measurement to determine a measured velocity of the piece of railroad rolling stock. A comparison of the measured velocity to the previously predicted velocity is performed, and a modification to subsequent velocity control activities to minimize a variation in the predicted velocity versus the measured velocity is performed. A system and a computer software code are also disclosed for controlling movement of the piece of railroad rolling stock within the classification rail yard.

Abstract: User disposable sleeves for use with sound controlling structures having a non-constant radial profile can include an inner portion adapted to releasably attach to the sound controlling structure and an outer portion adapted to fit within a user's ear canal. The user disposable sleeve can include holding means configured to releasably secure the sleeve to the elongate sound controlling structure and fitment means configured to conform to an inner surface of an ear. The fitment means can be fixedly disposed over the holding means.

In some embodiments, an example adapter may include an adapter body having a first side, a port or projection extending from the first side, and a second side. The second side is generally configured to be attachable to a sound device such as an earbud or earbud-type of headphone. The projection may include a sleeve attached thereto. The projection and sleeve are generally configured to at least in part extend into the ear canal of a user during use.
