  • Patent number: 11640249
Abstract: Aspects include receiving, at a portable storage device, a file from a digital device. The file is stored into an unprotected storage area on the portable storage device and a storage policy associated with the digital device is accessed by the portable storage device. It is determined, by the portable storage device, based at least in part on the portable storage policy, whether to store a copy of the file in a protected storage area on the storage device. Access to the protected storage area is restricted to authenticated users. A copy of the file is stored in the protected storage area in response to determining that a copy of the file should be stored in the protected storage area.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 15, 2021
Date of Patent: May 2, 2023
    Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION
Inventors: Jeffrey Bisti, Philip Siconolfi, Tyler Nicole King, Robert Paquin

  • Publication number: 20190147760
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for utilizing a cognitive machine learning model to customize content to enhance a user's comprehension of the content are disclosed herein. The machine learning model may receive a baseline user profile for a user and various other data including, for example, social media data, biometric data, and processed speech data as inputs, and may generate a customized user profile for the user based on the received inputs. The customized user profile may then be used to customize content to obtain customized content for the user designed to enhance the user's comprehension.

  • Patent number: 7112320
Abstract: A concentrated solution of a wound healing promoter, in particular fibronectin, is used to develop solid wound dressings. The solid wound dressings containing fibronectin are easy to apply, easy to remove, and deliver fibronectin in a range of physiologically active dosages.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: September 26, 2006
Inventors: Andre Beaulieu, Robert Paquin, Benoit Lariviere
  • Publication number: 20060005405
Abstract: A device for confirming the presence of thread in nuts and other threaded parts has a threaded gage mounted on a holder which is connected through a clutch to a motor. The motor drives the holder to rotate the threaded gage to engage the threaded part. Switches are provided to stop and reverse the motor. The device identifies parts without threads and also damaged and incomplete threads. The device does not impart undue force levels to unthreaded, undersized parts or defective parts. The device confirms threads in threaded blind bores.

  • Publication number: 20030105007
Abstract: This invention relates to the production of topical dosage forms containing human plasma fibronectin in combination with growth factors having human mitogenic or angiogenic activity, such as platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF-&bgr;&bgr;), to promote wound healing in humans.

  • Patent number: 6528483
Abstract: Aqueous, non-buffered solutions containing high concentrations of fibronectin and other wound healing promoters are produced, which can then be used to make topical gel and cream formulations with high concentrations of these wound healing promoters. The formulations are used for the healing of cutaneous wounds. The formulations provide slow release and increased contact time of fibronectin and of other wound healing promoters to the wound site leading to effective absorption of the promoters.
