  • Publication number: 20240156462
Abstract: Tissue stabilizing devices and methods for stabilizing, and optionally closing, a target tissue, such as the left atrial appendage, generally include an elongate body with a first lumen and a second lumen, a suction tip coupled to the elongate body, and an injection tip coupled to the elongate body proximal of the suction tip. The suction tip may define a suction aperture and the suction aperture may be in fluid communication with the first lumen to apply suction to the target tissue. The injection tip may be in fluid communication with the second lumen to dispense a contrast fluid.

  • Publication number: 20240081903
Abstract: Described here are devices, systems, and methods for closing the left atrial appendage. The methods described here utilize a closure device for closing the left atrial appendage and guides or expandable elements with ablation or abrading elements to ablate or abrade the left atrial appendage. In general, these methods include positioning a balloon at least partially within the atrial appendage, positioning a closure assembly of a closure device around an exterior of the atrial appendage, inflating the balloon, partially closing the closure assembly, ablating the interior tissue of the atrial appendage with the inflated balloon, removing the balloon from the atrial appendage, and closing the atrial appendage with the closure assembly.

  • Publication number: 20110253660
Abstract: A foldable rack includes a lower rack frame having front and rear frame-halves each including left and right upright rods and a plurality of vertically spaced-apart horizontal plates, and left and right guide rods disposed between the left and right upright rods of the front and rear frame-halves. The horizontal plates of the front and rear frame-halves are respectively aligned with each other. Each horizontal plate of the front and rear frame-halves is disposed between and connected pivotally to the left and right upright rods and the left and right guide rods. An upper rack frame is disposed above the lower rack frame, and includes left and right guide rod extensions that are respectively connected to and that extend upwardly from the left and right guide rods.

  • Publication number: 20110155680
Abstract: A foldable rack includes first and second frame-halves each including at least two horizontal plates, and two upright rods connected pivotally and respectively to front and rear sides of each horizontal plate. Two guide rods are disposed respectively between the upright rods of the frame-halves. Two slide pieces are sleeved slidably and respectively on the guide rods between top and bottom sections thereof, and respectively have a protrusion. Two locking units are disposed respectively on the guide rods between the top and bottom sections thereof. Each locking unit includes a locking element to engage or disengage the protrusion of a respective slide piece so as to prevent or unlock relative sliding movement between one of the slide pieces and a respective guide rod, so that the upright rods of the first and second frame-halves are moved to an unfolded or folded state.
