  • Patent number: 5301426
Abstract: A hand-held wire stripping tool for removing long sections of insulation from wire or cable of various diameters. The cable to be stripped is engaged between a pair of stepped sheaves on one side and a free-spinning, circular cutting blade on the other side. To accommodate different thicknesses of insulation, the axle of the cutting blade is journaled in a slidable mount that may be adjusted by turning a lead screw.

  • Patent number: 4139036
Abstract: A housing having top and bottom openings is provided with an interior flexible sheet containing a cross-slit for holding a screw in a vertically upright position. The bottom opening is placed over the point into which the screw is to be threaded. A screwdriver may be inserted through the top opening to engage the slot in the screw head so that the screw can be threaded. A plurality of screws can be similarly inserted into a plurality of cross-slits formed along the length of a strip in order sequentially to advance each screw into a position which is vertically aligned with the top and bottom openings. The strip may contain sprocket holes which are engaged by a sprocket mounted in a housing for advancing the strip. The strip may also be provided with detent holes for cooperation with a detent means mounted on the housing for facilitating the positioning of each screw. In addition, a spring-loaded screwdriver may be mounted in the top opening.

  • Patent number: 4083162
Abstract: A connector assembly for use in aggregate structures cast over a form has a connector socket body embedded in the structure, the body having a threaded bore therein. An elongated locking member extends through a hole in the form and is threadedly engaged in the bore and has a lower section with a sleeve thereon. Projecting from the sleeve are a plurality of resilient splines which extend angularly outward from the sleeve in the direction of the socket body for engagement against the form to lock the socket body in place during solidification of the aggregate thereabout.
