  • Patent number: 9802204
Abstract: A generally elastic riffle assembly useful with a dry washer is provided with a frame that is receivable within the washer opening through which the mined particulates descend while the washer is agitated to separate the denser particulates and a set of inclined transverse riffles aligned across the frame to form wedge shaped transverse cavities in which the descending particulates are collected. Each of the riffles further include a plurality of generally vertical posts attached to their elevated edges which assist in the separation of the particulate flow and in setting off of the various modes of elastic motion of their corresponding riffle.

  • Patent number: 9610613
Abstract: A pedal articulated screen shaker assembly supporting a classifying screen at its top in an alignment over a collection receptacle is provided with an annular nested dust shielding combination suspended below the screen. The dust shielding combination comprises a conforming set of frustoconical elastomeric membrane segments in a nested arrangement with the exterior one of the segments perforated throughout its full circumference by perforations that are bridged by flexible flaps formed in the overlying interior segment that are lifted from their bridging alignment by the lateral movement imparted to the shielding combination.

  • Patent number: 9095881
Abstract: A sifting screen shaker assembly defined by a generally vertical hollow frame includes a pivotally supported yoke at its base provided with a foot pedal at its apex to articulate a pair of vertical links that are confined in their motion by the convolutions of shaped apertures, with the ends of the links articulating a screen assembly supported within a hinged tray above a collection receptacle in which the sifted particulates passed by the screen assembly are collected while additional particulates are added. The particulates accumulated in the screen assembly are then periodically discarded by articulating the tray around its hinge.

  • Publication number: 20140102433
Abstract: A pick axe is provided with recesses formed in the concave surfaces of its pick and its blade which are then filled with adhesive into which corresponding magnetic slugs are then bedded. The adhesive is faired with the adjacent surfaces around each recess and once set up or cured fully encapsulates the magnetic slug within its larger recess to isolate the higher frequency, or the higher energy components of each pick axe impact to protect the received slugs from demagnetization and/or fracture.

  • Patent number: 8322536
Abstract: A folding sluice box assembly includes a plurality of generally U-sectioned trough segments having their end portions nested in size progression and hinged to each other to form an overlap of the received portion and the receiving portion. A deformation in the bottom surface of a received portion is aligned on full pivotal extension for mating receipt in a conforming bottom surface opening in the receiving portion, thus interlocking of the assembly into its working configuration. When thus extended the edge of a resilient mat positioned on the bottom surface of the receiving segment abuts the edge of the received segment to effect a substantial seal therewith.
