  • Publication number: 20240161867
Abstract: One or more techniques for optimizing cancer classification based on covariate characteristics is disclosed. In a first approach, an analytics system may determine separate cutoff thresholds for positively detecting disease signal for different labels for a covariate characteristic. The system may subdivide training samples based on their labels for the covariate characteristic, to separately determine the cutoff thresholds. In other approaches, the system may train disparate classifiers for each population. The system separates the training samples based on their labels for the covariate characteristic, and separately trains classifiers to generate a signal vector representing an amount of disease signal detected in a sample. The classifiers may be trained on different feature sets as determined based on mutual information gain, genomic region coverage, and healthy activation fraction.

  • Publication number: 20240114562
Abstract: In an approach to generating a wake-up advertisement to a remote device, a system includes: a computing device comprising communications circuitry, including an advertisement initiation circuitry; one or more computer processors; one or more non-transitory computer readable storage media; and instructions stored on the one or more non-transitory computer readable storage media for execution by at least one of the one or more computer processors. The instructions include: send one or more wake-up advertisements to one or more remote devices; receive one or more connection advertisements from the responding remote device; and responsive to receiving the one or more connection advertisements from the responding remote device, connect to the responding remote device.

  • Publication number: 20240114336
Abstract: In an approach to networking devices using an ephemeral mesh network, the system includes: a plurality of devices, each device of the plurality of devices further comprising a wireless interface to communicate with a mobile device; and a controller. The controller includes circuitry configured to connect to the mobile device; authenticate the mobile device; responsive to authenticating the mobile device, establishing a mesh network of the plurality of devices, wherein each light device connects to at least one other devices of the plurality of devices to create a mesh network; and responsive to disconnecting from the mobile device, dissolving the mesh network by disconnecting each device from the plurality of devices.

  • Publication number: 20240111328
Abstract: Programmable control devices that rely on time-of-day accuracy maintain that accuracy by determining their location via a global positioning system, recording and timestamping continually measured ambient light via a daylight sensor and real-time clock (RTC) of the programmable control device, determining a mid-darkness time point, comparing that mid-darkness time point with a reference mid-darkness time point for the same location for the same day of the year, and then adjusting the RTC of the programmable control device as necessary. Methods of maintaining time of day in a programmable control device are also provided, as are other aspects.

  • Patent number: 4260215
Abstract: An electrical fuseholder for receiving an elongated, cylindrical fuse is provided with a pair of sheet-metal terminals which serve as means for connection into a circuit to be protected, as well as mechanical mounting means. The terminals are secured respectively between a pair of U-shaped fuseholder clips and an electrically insulating base and are provided with flanges for prevention of rotation of the respective terminals relative to the insulating base and of the U-shaped clips relative to the respective terminals.
