Patent number: 11951505Abstract: According to some embodiments, a system and method for dispensing a floor coating in a specified ratio of multiple components is disclosed. The system and method may set and maintain a desired ratio of the multiple components by controlling, with a controller, a drive rate of respective pumps configured for propelling the components from a reservoir to a mixer or a dispenser. The controller may be responsive to at least one of a measured actual drive rate, an environmental condition, an actual usage of each component, and an operational parameter of the system, for adjusting a drive rate of the respective pumps to compensate for discrepancies that may affect the ratio of the multiple components.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: SWIMC LLCInventors: Kyle Sanford Smith, Murty Venkata Bhamidipati, David Royston Hughes, Robert S. Smith, Peter V. Ferris, Daniel R. Allen, Charles R. Sperry, David M. Kroll

Patent number: 11913463Abstract: A compressor for a heat transfer circuit includes a variable frequency drive (VFD), an electric motor that rotates a driveshaft, bearing(s) for supporting the driveshaft, a backup gas supply, and a power supply. During a utility power interruption, the backup gas supply operates utilizing DC electrical power generated by a back electromotive force of the electric motor. A method of operating an electric power supply system for a compressor includes operating in a utility power mode and operating in a backup power mode during a utility power interruption. In the utility power mode, AC electrical power is supplied from the VFD to the motor. In the backup power mode, DC electrical power generated in the VFD by a back electromotive force of the motor it used to operate a backup gas supply to supply compressed working fluid to gas bearing(s) of the compressor.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: TRANE INTERNATIONAL INC.Inventors: Seth M. McGill, Charles J. Peterson, Robert S. Bakkestuen, Kevin P. Hughes

Patent number: 4555138Abstract: The present invention provides a nurse's seat for tending to a plurality of patient stations which are spaced apart from each other such as, for example, in an ambulance. The nurse's seat comprises an elongated and substantially horizontal track which extends between and adjacent the patient's stations. A frame is slidably mounted to the track and carries a swivelly mounted seat on which the nurse sits. In the preferred form of the invention, the nurse's seat is vertically slidably movable with respect to the frame to accomodate vertically stacked patient's stations. In addition, a locking pin selectively locks the frame to the track at any of a plurality of predetermined positions.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 1983Date of Patent: November 26, 1985Assignee: R. S. Patent number: 4229919Abstract: A system, kit and method for erecting a structure elevated off the ground, including rigidly installing a series of posts the upper ends of which lie in a horizontal plane. Sheet material may be applied to the ground beneath the structure to be erected to impede the growth of vegetation. On top of each of the posts is placed the tubular portion of a ground saddle. Two wooden joists are placed in each ground saddle to form a series of parallel beams. The beams are fastened in the ground saddles, and on top of the beams there is fastened a plurality of plane saddle devices. Within the plain saddle devices there is fastened a series of substantially parallel joists which are oriented perpendicular to the series of beams. Other structural members are fastened on top of the joists to form the elevated structure.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 1979Date of Patent: October 28, 1980Assignee: Oakwood Manufacturing, Inc.Inventor: Robert S.
