  • Patent number: 5417329
Abstract: A storage and dispensing device having a plurality of individual storage and dispensing compartments is provided. Each compartment is provided with a slidable mating opening through a wall of the compartment for slidably mating with an extending track. The compartments are adapted to be grasped and slidably moved along the track to separate the compartments and permit access to compartments opened thereby. The compartments are slidably returned to a non-separated position in which the wall of one compartment serves as a closure element for an adjacent compartment. The track may be an upstanding vertical rod requiring upward horizontal separation of the compartments in order to gain access. A plurality of these compartments, each having a mating opening for sliding along the extending track, act cooperatively to prevent jamming or sticking of the compartments as they slide along the track together. The compartments are rotatable with respect to each other and rotatable in unison around the track.

  • Patent number: 5292203
Abstract: A substance dispenser for dispensing substance onto an article is provided with a substance reservoir for storing substance and an openable closure element. The openable closure element forms one wall of the reservoir while closing the reservoir and permits passage of the article therethrough and into the reservoir. The article is also withdrawn from the reservoir after substance is dispensed to the inserted article by way of the openable closure element. The openable closure element opens when the article is urged against the closure element and sealingly closes around the article as the article is inserted into the reservoir and withdrawn from the substance reservoir. The sealing closure around the article as the article is withdrawn is effective to wipe excess substance from the article and to retain the excess substance within the reservoir. The openable closure element may be a resilient diaphragm having a slit.

  • Patent number: 5220753
Abstract: The safety vacuum shield of the present disclosure may be detachably secured to a hand held power tool for removing particulate materials while performing work upon a workpiece with the power tool. Applying the power tool to the workpiece generates turbulence which moves the particulate materials, including particles of the workpiece as well as the tool bit. The safety vacuum attachment includes a shield for containing the turbulence and the moving particulate materials within an interior region defined by the shield when the power tool is in use. A first opening through the shield permits the power tool to extend therethrough and into the interior region. A second opening through the shield permits a vacuum to be applied to the interior region for providing a vacuum slip stream to draw materials within the slip stream from the interior region by way of the second opening.

  • Patent number: 4041637
Abstract: A game board is provided in the form of a planar board member having a plurality of equally spaced pegs of substantially uniform height and thickness on one surface and located at the intersections of equally spaced apart transverse sets of parallel lines, said pegs being spaced so that a conventional paper clip spans at least two pegs in any line and a plurality of paper clips engaged over adjacent pegs to form a design.
