  • Patent number: 7029918
Abstract: A water-soluble reference standard is useful for immunoassays of a lipophilic drugs. The reference standard is a compound of formula (I): G-(L)n—Y;??(I) where G is a lipophilic drug; L is a linker which is an alkyl group or heteroalkyl group containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; n is 0 or 1; and Y is a water-solubilizing group such as —SO3?, —NR—SO3?, —P(?O)(OH)(O?), or —O—P(?O)(OH)(O?); where R is H or an alkyl group of 1 to 10 carbon atoms.

  • Publication number: 20020072053
Abstract: An immunoassay method based upon inhibition of a DNA polymerase enzyme accomplished by linking a ligand of the analyte to a primer through a covalent bond. The interaction between the primer-bound ligand and a receptor specific for the ligand inhibits the DNA polymerase enzyme from generating double stranded DNA. The degree of inhibition of double stranded DNA synthesis is inversely proportional to the concentration of analyte in the sample. The analyte is determined by measuring the formation of double stranded DNA, e.g., by a fluorescence DNA intercalation technique.

  • Patent number: 5514363
Abstract: A protein containing at least one pendant sulfhydryl group is directly radiolabeled with a radiometal which binds tightly to sulfhydryl groups, using one or more pendant sulfhydryl groups on the protein as endogenous ligands and optionally using an exogenous ligand which binds tightly to the radiometal ion to further stabilize the chelate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 7, 1993
Date of Patent: May 7, 1996
    Assignee: Immunomedics, Inc.
Inventors: Dan Shochat, Hans J. Hansen, Robert S. Wu
  • Patent number: 5061641
Abstract: A protein containing at least one pendant sulfhydryl group is directly radiolabeled with a radiometal which binds tightly to sulfhydryl groups, using one or more pendant sulfhydral groups on the protein as endogenous ligands and optionally using an exogenous ligand which binds tightly to the radiometal ion to further stabilize the chelate.
