Abstract: A cradle style cushion includes a central sealing body portion including a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall and a bottom wall. The top wall includes a central sealing surface, a first stabilizing surface and a second stabilizing surface, the first and second stabilizing surfaces each extending upwardly and outwardly with respect to the central sealing surface and a top edge of the front wall and being structured to wrap around and engage an outside of the nostrils when the patient interface device is donned by the patient, wherein the first stabilizing surface includes a first front side edge portion and the second stabilizing surface includes a second front side edge portion, and wherein the top edge of the front wall, the first front side edge portion and the second front side edge portion together define a front opening of the central sealing body portion.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and related methods for controlling a pressurized flow from a high or low pressure system. An actuated sand dump system and related methods include a first valve positioned downstream of a high or low pressure system, a second valve positioned downstream of the first valve, a choke positioned between in the first and second valves, a plurality of pressure gauges, and a control unit operable to automatically open and close the first and second valves and the choke in a predetermined sequence, upon initiating the predetermined sequence, and in response to pressure measurements from the plurality of pressure gauges.

Abstract: Systems and methods for speech validation in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes a method for validating speech. The method includes steps for encoding a set of audio data, processing a set of target data, wherein the target data includes a sequence of target elements associated with the set of audio data, computing a set of one or more alignment probabilities for each target element of the sequence of target elements, performing temporal resolution based on the computed set of alignment probabilities to determine an alignment between the set of target data and the set of audio data.

Abstract: A kinetic energy training cartridge simulates the performance, weight, length, and external geometry of a tactical cartridge. The training cartridge includes a cartridge case and a projectile that is secured to cartridge case by means of a sabot. The sabot includes a rearward extension that encapsulates part of the projectile, to add weight and to increase a length to diameter ratio of the projectile, so as to decrease an intrusion volume of the projectile within the cartridge case. In a preferred embodiment, the length to diameter ratio of the projectile is at least 15.
