  • Patent number: 10445914
Abstract: Map data for generating a digital map of a geographic area is received, the digital map is generated using the received map data, and the digital map is displayed via a user interface. An interactive runway of photographic images corresponding to objects located within the geographic area is generated, the runway being an arrangement of the photographic images. Generating the runway may include rating each of the candidate photographic images corresponding to objects located within the within the geographic area using viewing signals related to at least one of the photographic image or an object depicted in the photographic image, and selecting, from among the candidate photographic images, the photographic images for inclusion in the interactive runway, using the rating. The interactive runway is displayed over the digital map.

  • Publication number: 20190286309
Abstract: A user interface for rotating imagery among a plurality of canonical views of a geographic area of interest is disclosed. The interface includes at least one rotation control icon for rotating the imagery among a plurality of canonical views of the geographic area, and a direction indicating portion that indicates a compass direction associated with the canonical view presented on the display device. In particular implementations, the interface can be configured to come into view over the imagery whenever a user navigates to a particular view of the imagery where a plurality of canonical views is available. The motion of the navigation control interface appearing into the imagery is intended to draw attention to the control interface to inform the user that additional canonical views are available.

  • Patent number: 10257143
Abstract: An example method to generate knowledge base articles involves analyzing user-satisfaction indicators of a plurality of user response messages in a forum message board of a cloud computing system. The user response messages are posted in response to a first message requesting assistance related to a computing resource. One of the user response messages having a highest one of the user-satisfaction indicators relative to others of the plurality of user response messages is selected. A knowledge base article is generated based on the selected user response message.

  • Patent number: 10250539
Abstract: An example method to manage delivery of messages in an enterprise network environment involves receiving a message from a user of the enterprise network environment via a social media network. The example method involves identifying an occupational position of the user and scanning the message for at least one of identifiers. The example method involves determining whether the message includes at least one of the identifiers. When the message does not include at least one of the identifiers, the example method involves delivering the message to at least one of a first plurality of users of an enterprise entity via the social media network, the first plurality of users characterized by a same occupational position as the user.

  • Patent number: 10208665
Abstract: The invention relates to methods and systems of converting electrical energy to chemical energy and optionally reconverting it to produce electricity as required. In preferred embodiments the source of electrical energy is at least partially from renewable source. The present invention allows for convenient energy conversion and generation without the atmospheric release of CO2. One method for producing methane comprises electrolysis of water to form hydrogen and oxygen, and using the hydrogen to hydrogenate carbon dioxide to form methane. It preferred to use the heat produced in the hydrogenation reaction to heat the water prior to electrolysis. The preferred electrical energy source for the electrolysis is a renewable energy source such as solar, wind, tidal, wave, hydro or geothermal energy. The method allows to store the energy gained at times of low demand in the form of methane which can be stored and used to generate more energy during times of high energy demand.

  • Patent number: 10075442
Abstract: An example method to grant authorization to a user for accessing a cloud computing resource involves receiving a first message from a user via a social media interface. The first message includes a request to access a cloud computing resource. The example method involves determining whether the user is authorized to access the cloud computing resource. When the user is not authorized to access the cloud computing resource, the example method involves determining whether the authorization can be automatically granted without human intervention. When the authorization can be automatically granted without human intervention, the authorization is granted to the user. When the authorization cannot be automatically granted, a second message is sent to an administrator to request the human intervention to grant the user the authorization to access the cloud computing resource.
