  • Publication number: 20200337275
Abstract: A system for removing parasites from fish includes a conduit through which individual fish pass, a plurality of arms associated with the conduit circumferentially spaced with respect to each other, and a spray nozzle for each arm connected to a fluid source for dislodging parasites from said fish. The nozzles are closely spaced with respect to the fish for more effective treatment. A pre-treatment substance may also be used.

  • Patent number: 10757922
Abstract: A system for removing parasites from fish includes a downwardly angled enclosed conduit through which individual fish freely pass, and two or more spaced sets of arms extending inward from the conduit. There is a spray nozzle for each arm connected to a fluid source for dislodging parasites from the fish. The arms are adjustable relative to the enclosed conduit depending on the size of the fish in the conduit for closely spacing the spray nozzles with respect to the fish without stressing or harming the fish.

  • Publication number: 20180295816
Abstract: A system and method for removing parasites from fish. Individual fish pass in a conduit and a plurality of arms are associated with the conduit circumferentially spaced with respect to each other. A treatment head unit for each arm for dislodging parasites from the fish. The arms are adjusted for closely spacing the head unit with respect to the fish.

  • Patent number: 8509933
Abstract: The invention provides systems and methods for manufacture of a non-homogeneous article using a 3D voxel-based model of the article and a rapid prototyping device. Use of a voxel-based model provides processing advantages and offers improved realism of the manufactured object with regard to non-homogeneous (i) color, (ii) translucency, and/or (iii) hardness, for example.

  • Publication number: 20120179281
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention generally relate to systems and methods for designing and manufacturing dentures. More particularly, in certain embodiments, the invention relates to a system for preparing a denture base plate. The system includes a user interface and a design application for creating a virtual model, and a manufacturing apparatus for fabricating a denture base plate corresponding to the virtual model. In other embodiments, an apparatus is provided that includes a graphical interface and a design application for selecting a set of virtual denture teeth and placing and adjusting the virtual denture teeth in relation to each other and a virtual denture base plate.
