  • Patent number: 10025599
Abstract: A system and method for providing connectivity as a service are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system establishes a connection between a driver and a connectivity service; receives, at the connectivity service, a request from the driver; establishes a connection with one or more data sources associated with the request; and sends the request to the one or more data sources, the one or more data sources performing an action based on the request.

  • Patent number: 9182951
Abstract: An application Platform as a Service system includes a rapid development platform adapted to receive input and create a data-driven application. The rapid development platform provides a graphical user interface and at least one template for use in creating the data driven application. The system further includes a unified platform for executing the data-driven application, the unified platform coupled to the rapid development platform to receive and initialize the data-driven application. The unified platform is capable of communicating with and modifying a plurality of data sources responsive to the data-driven application, and providing a unified environment for executing the data-driven application. The system also includes a multi-system interface module having inputs and outputs for coupling the unified platform to the plurality of data sources. The present invention also includes methods for operation of the application platform as a service.

  • Publication number: 20140270203
Abstract: A method of determining the audio level of a network partner media player, wherein, when media playing on a terminal media player running on a terminal originates from an external media source, the method comprises obtaining activity information from the terminal, obtaining activity information from the terminal media player, obtaining activity information from an external source media player associated with the external media source, and analysing the activity information from the terminal, the activity information from the terminal media player, the activity information from the external media source media player, whereby the audio level of the network partner media player is determined.

  • Patent number: 8474605
Abstract: A conveyor drive shaft for use in agricultural combines including an integral torque limiting device is disclosed herein. More particularly, a co-axial integrated torque limiter, such as an radial pin clutch, is provided in such a conveyor drive shaft to minimize additional space claim required to protect the conveyor drive shaft, and attached components from damage in the event of an unexpected jam or other stoppage. A conveyor system employing such an integrated conveyor drive shaft and a combine employing such a conveyor system are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050151965
Abstract: An imaging system and methods for resolving elements of interest through and obscuring environment by removing undesired signals from the intervening, obscuring environment is disclosed. A passive hyperspectral imaging sensor is calibrated and integrated into a system having a positioning and attitude detection system and an instrument control and data acquisition system that records data from sensors in a three-dimensional data cube having two spatial dimensions and a spectral dimension. Either an active detection and ranging system or a look-up-table approach or both are used to remove the noise generated by the intervening, obscuring environment from the data relevant to the elements of interest.

  • Publication number: 20050135105
Abstract: An LED package includes a datum reference feature that is external to the insulating body of the LED package and has a known, fixed relationship to the heat sink. The LED die is mounted to the heat sink such that the LED die has a fixed relationship to the heat sink. Accordingly, the reference datum feature provides a frame of reference to the position of the LED die within the LED package. The reference datum feature may be mounted to the heat sink or integrally formed from the heat sink. A pick-and-place head holds the LED package by engaging the datum reference feature, e.g., with an alignment pin. In addition, the LED package may include a lead that extends laterally into the insulating body, and extends towards the LED die to reduce the vertical distance between the lead and the LED die.
