  • Publication number: 20210383330
Abstract: A system for forecasting a chance of success of a user locating employment, assisting the user to become employed, or both, is disclosed. The system has at least one client device associated with a user, a network interface for receiving an input from the GUI, and sending an output to a server, wherein the output is associated with the at least one task. A machine learning module has a data repository, a monitoring module, a predictive analyzer module and a multivariate analyzing module that utilizes an output confidence metric from the data repository to perform predictive modeling to correlate outputs associated with the at least one task with confidence data to output a quantification of chance of success at finding the employment. • Patent number: 10478016
Abstract: A gas-fired smoker constitutes a cabinet for holding food products to be cooked. A gas burner in the cabinet is connected to a source of flammable gas by means of a valve. The gas burner heats the cabinet and thereby cooks the food products. In one embodiment a pilot light ignites the flammable gas at the gas burner. A control circuit powered by a DC source controls the operation of the gas-fired smoker including igniting and extinguishing the gas burner in order to maintain a cooking temperature in the cabinet. A battery powers the control system. In another embodiment a rechargeable battery is recharged by a Seebeck thermal electric generator that is exposed to the heat from the gas burner.

  • Patent number: 10021887
Abstract: A stand-alone gas-fired smoker constitutes a cabinet for holding food products to be cooked. A gas burner in the bottom of the cabinet is connected to a source of flammable gas by means of a variable gas valve. The gas burner heats the cabinet and thereby cooks the food products. An oil filled temperature sensing bulb is connected by means of a capillary tube to the variable gas valve in order to modulate the gas delivered through the variable gas valve to the gas burner and thereby modulate the temperature within the cabinet. A safety/ignition valve is connected between of the gas source and the variable gas valve. The safety/ignition valve is connected to a flame sensor, and the safety/ignition valve closes if the flame sensor senses that the gas burner has been extinguished.

  • Publication number: 20140059735
Abstract: A non-aerobic garment to be worn to promote weight-loss during a wearer's daily activities from a targeted area of the wearer's body includes: (a) a sleeve having a configuration adapted so that the wearer can place the sleeve around the targeted body area, (b) a top and bottom means for holding the sleeve's top and bottom ends in close proximity to the top and bottom portions, respectively, of the targeted body area so as to trap an enclosed air layer around the targeted body area, and (c) wherein the materials of construction of this sleeve is a non-breathable material that has high thermal insulation and low water vapor permeability properties.

  • Patent number: 8484723
Abstract: A system and method for signing and authenticating electronic documents using public key cryptography applied by one or more server computer clusters operated in a trustworthy manner, which may act in cooperation with trusted components controlled and operated by the signer. The system employs a presentation authority for presenting an unsigned copy of an electronic document to a signing party and a signature authority for controlling a process for affixing an electronic signature to the unsigned document to create a signed electronic document. The system provides an applet for a signing party's computer that communicates with the signature authority.

  • Publication number: 20090181122
Abstract: A method of synthesizing rumen bacterial polysaccharides in increased amounts using a cow as the growth apparatus, a special formulation of normal cow feed as a substrate and a combination of feeding time, time of day, feeding technique, collection area within the rumen, feed physical form and number of feedings to maximize bacterial growth and diversity is described. The feeding of these bacterial polysaccharides the first few days of young animals' lives aids in decreasing diarrhea morbidity, severity and mortality. In addition it results in increased growth rate.

  • Publication number: 20090181357
Abstract: A method of freeze-drying rumen fluid while retaining the activity of the contained bacterial polysaccharides is described. The resulting product may be formulated into nutritional compositions including probiotics, nutricines, vitamins, minerals, an amino acid, and/or a monosaccharide. The use of this resulting nutritional composition the first few days of young animals' lives result in decreased diarrhea morbidity, severity and mortality. The product containing the freeze-dried bacterial polysaccharides helps stimulate the gut's natural immune response and function.

  • Publication number: 20080318330
Abstract: A process of standardizing the strength of dried rumen bacterial polysaccharides is described. These dried rumen bacterial polysaccharides may then be included into a composition with vitamins, probiotics, minerals, an amino acid and/or a monosaccharide and fed to reduce the effect of diarrhea in young animals. The described mixture when used for the first few days of life is capable of reducing the severity, incidence and mortality from diarrhea. It also results in increased body weight gain.
