  • Patent number: 7101201
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for disabling power to an electrical device include a flexible conduit electrically coupled with the electrical device having electrical cables received therein. A male plug member is attached to a distal end of the conduit having a plurality of pins each connected to a respective cable. The plug member is hingedly attached to a socket which is in turn electrically coupled with a power source. The male plug may be pivoted into and out of engagement with the socket to selectively enable or disable the electrical device.

  • Patent number: 6070996
Abstract: A pivotable light stanchion assembly includes an upper stanchion having a light at a top end and lower stanchion member which are detachably coupled with a pair of socket members. A first socket is attached to the lower stanchion and includes a plurality of receptacles in electrical communication with a power source. The opposing socket member is attached to the upper stanchion and includes a plurality of male prongs coupled with a light member at a distal end of the upper stanchion member. The socket members are pivotally joined so that the upper stanchion member may be pivoted downwardly relative to the lower stanchion member thereby disabling power to the light while allowing the light to be accessed from ground level.

  • Patent number: 3957115
Abstract: A method of incrementally treating a section of an earth formation around a well to improve fluid flow into the well. The method includes the steps of installing a well casing provided with spaced landing nipples, perforating and treating a bottom portion of the formation by suitable standard procedures including employing a packer in the casing above the location of perforation and treating, running a retrievable plug into the well bore, releasably locking the plug at one of the landing nipples above the first location of perforation and treating, running a perforator into the well above the plug and perforating the casing above the plug, treating the formation through the perforations above the plug, and thereafter sequentially treating the formation at selected depths up the hole by engaging the plug with a combination overshot handling tool and perforator to lift the plug upwardly and install the plug at the next landing nipple above the previously perforated and treated zone.
