    Abstract: An apparatus for the application of drywall compound onto a taped drywall joint. The applicator uses an electrically powered, positive displacement pump which supplies a continuous flow of compound from a hopper to the applicator head via a fluid path. Remote controls on the handle of the applicator allow the operator to turn the pump on or off and also to select the optimal pump speed. The hopper is large enough so that an operator can apply compound to a number of joints before having to stop and refill the apparatus with compound.
