  • Publication number: 20030084598
Abstract: A visual display including a container, liquidous fluid within the container, a source of gaseous fluid communicating with the liquidous fluid, and at least one binary bubble formed within the liquidous fluid in response to gaseous fluid entering the liquidous fluid. The liquidous fluid is preferably a polymer in water solution or a polymer in mineral oil or silicon oil solution. The binary bubble has two bulbous portions in fluid communication with each other through a neck. The binary bubbles may link together in a chain extending from the bottom of the container to the top of the liquidous fluid. In other constructions, the binary bubbles float up through the liquidous fluid and collapse into a large individual bubble. The display may also include a light emitting source and a filter for selectively changing the color of light emitted into the container.

  • Patent number: 6505566
Abstract: A support assembly is provided that includes a platform and an arm. The arm has a first end and a second end. The second end of the arm is attached to the platform. The first end of the arm rotatably and slidably engages with a support guide so that the arm and platform move between a raised and a storage position.

  • Patent number: 6435904
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multiple peripheral connection device for connecting multiple peripheral devices to a host device via a series of flexible electrical connectors. The device includes a multiplicity of port orienting structures having downstream ports provided thereon. The port orienting structures are individually movable relative to the device housing and one another so as to enable relative orientation of said downstream ports provided thereon to be adjusted to facilitate establishing the electrical coupling between the downstream ports and the multiple peripheral devices.

  • Patent number: 4384403
Abstract: A positioning tool for use in attaching the cover panels to support members in a prefabricated building system using self-drilling and self-tapping fasteners and a locking member which includes locating means for positioning the locking member behind the overlapped cover panels and guide means for locating the fastener against the support member opposite the locking member so that the fastener is aligned with the locking member and, as the fastener is installed by self-drilling and self-tapping its way through the juxtaposed support member and cover panels, the locking member will be threadedly engaged by the fastener to hold the cover panels against the support member between the head of the fastener and the locking member.

  • Patent number: 4369609
Abstract: A fastener assembly for use in attaching cover panels to support members in a prefabricated building system where the cover panels and support members have a prescribed total thickness at the point of attachment including a self-drilling and self-tapping screw where the self-tapping thread on the screw terminates a prescribed distance from the head of the screw which is substantially equal to the total thickness of the support member and cover panels so that the screw will self-drill and self-tap its way through the support member and the cover panels and the self-tapping thread will release the support member nd the cover panels when the head on the screw is seated against the support member so that the screw is free to rotate with respect to the support member and cover panel; and a locking member adapted to be threadedly engaged by the screw behind the cover panels to clamp the cover panels onto the support member between the locking member and the head of the screw.
