  • Publication number: 20190343568
Abstract: A universal wire driver attachment comprises a driveshaft forming a lumen extending along a longitudinal axis. The driveshaft forms a plurality of channels extending perpendicularly from the longitudinal axis. The attachment further comprises a plurality of primary jaws movably disposed at least partially within the channels. The primary jaws comprise a plurality of wire gripping surfaces facing the longitudinal axis and configured to grip the surgical wire. The primary jaws cooperate with the channels such that the primary jaws are constrained from moving in an axial direction along the longitudinal axis. The primary jaws are capable of moving outward from the longitudinal axis when the surgical wire is inserted between the primary jaws, and the primary jaws are capable of being urged inward toward the longitudinal axis by the securing mechanism to increase a grip force on the surgical wire.

  • Publication number: 20190247785
Abstract: Methods of recirculating clean air in an atmosphere of an enclosure comprise directing an input air stream from the atmosphere of the enclosure through a coiled duct at a rate sufficient to stratify the input air stream within the coiled duct according to a molecular weight of components of the input air stream and to form a heavy fraction stream and a light fraction stream, wherein the heavy fraction stream is relatively enriched in carbon dioxide as compared to the light fraction stream; withdrawing the heavy fraction stream from the coiled duct; and returning the light fraction stream from the coiled duct to the atmosphere of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 10348202
Abstract: A modular dc-dc boost converter system is provided that can substantially improve efficiency over a wide range of input and output voltages. The system includes three modules: a buck module, a boost module, and a dc transformer module. These modules are interconnected such that the system output voltage is equal to the sum of the output voltages of adc-dc converter module and a dc transformer module. Depending on the operating point, one or more modules may operate in passthrough mode, leading to substantially reduced ac losses. The required capacitor size and the transistor voltage ratings are also substantially reduced, relative to a conventional single dc-dc boost converter operating at the same input and output voltages.

  • Patent number: 10106096
Abstract: A door rack carrier is a compact, adjustable, easily mountable and removable, temporary system that can be added to the passenger side of most passenger motor vehicles. The door rack carrier allows the user to transport long oversized items for short distances. The door rack carrier is designed to hang on the vehicles doors (front and back) and is adjustable and lockable as required to accommodate different door thicknesses. Each Vehicle Side Carrier (VSC) has tie down cords or straps that will support and hold material to the vertical support column, making it secure. The forward carrier is elevated relative to the rear carrier to provide clearance of the transported items from contact with the turning front wheels of the vehicle.
