  • Patent number: 11996565
Abstract: Electrode plates with feed and product channels are provided that present more spatially uniform chemical and electrochemical compositions to catalytically active electrode structures and ion-conducting electrolyte membrane layers to improve the performance and increase the longevity of the electrochemical devices (e.g., membrane reactors, gas-separation cells, electrochemical compressors, fuel cells, and electrolyzers). Each plate can have a single channel that extends between an inlet and an outlet, and each channel can have a first segment that spirals inwardly from the inlet to a midpoint and a second segment that spirals outwardly from the midpoint to the outlet. The segments are interleaved with each other such that there are alternating flows of less-depleted feed or product and more-depleted feed or product. Consequently, chemical, electrochemical, and thermal behaviors are more uniformly distributed across the membrane-electrode assembly to increase performance and longevity of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 11982726
Abstract: Tracer kinetic models are utilized as temporal constraints for highly under-sampled reconstruction of DCE-MRI data. In one embodiment, a method for improving dynamic contrast enhanced imaging. The method includes steps of administering a magnetic resonance contrast agent to a subject and then collecting magnetic resonance contrast agent from the subject. A tracer kinetic model (i.e. eTofts or Patlak) is selected to be applied to the magnetic resonance imaging data. The tracer kinetic model is applied to the magnetic resonance imaging data. Tracer kinetic maps and dynamic images are simultaneously reconstructed and a consistency constraint is applied. The proposed method allows for easy use of different tracer kinetic models in the formulation and estimation of patient-specific arterial input functions jointly with tracer kinetic maps.

  • Publication number: 20240119582
Abstract: Described are embodiments for generating a post-optical proximity correction (OPC) result for a mask using a target pattern and reference layer patterns. Images of the target pattern and reference layers are provided as an input to a machine learning (ML) model to generate a post-OPC image. The images may be input separately or combined into a composite image (e.g., using a linear function) and input to the ML model. The images are rendered from pattern data. For example, a target pattern image is rendered from a target pattern to be printed on a substrate, and a reference layer image such as dummy pattern image is rendered from dummy pattern. The ML model is trained to generate the post-OPC image using multiple images associated with target patterns and reference layers, and using a reference post-OPC image of the target pattern. The post-OPC image may be used to generate a post-OPC mask.

  • Patent number: 11936453
Abstract: Multi-User Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) data transmissions are provided with a forward-predictive precoding matrix to mitigate the effects of a change in a state of a communication channel. First and second soundings are performed, at first and second times, to a receive antenna over a channel and, responsive to each of the soundings, first and second Channel State Information (CSI) are received. Based on the first and second CSI, a change in a state of the channel over a time period between the first and second time is determined. Based on the change in the state of the channel, a forward-predictive channel state matrix and/or a forward-predictive precoding matrix are determined that reflect a state of the channel at a future time and that are consistent with the determined change in the state over the time period. The forward-predictive precoding matrix is applied to a data transmission.

  • Patent number: 10929678
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein provide improvements over existing systems by dynamically controlling communication connections between two or more computing devices based on the detection of specific events. Instead of requiring a device, such as an IoT device, to be continually connected to a network or a remote device, the techniques disclosed herein enable the device to remain offline until a specific event is detected. The disclosed technologies can avoid always-on network configurations while providing a desired functionality for an IoT device. For instance, some devices only connect with other computing devices or at network in response to detection of an event, then disconnect after an exchange of specific information. Such technologies can significantly reduce the power consumption of a device by only invoking connections at appropriate times.

Abstract: A communications link between a computing device and an external device is monitored. A driver for the communications link is executed on the computing device. The driver is configured to monitor data traffic over the communications link. Data indicative of the monitored data traffic is received from the driver. The data is sent to an analysis function configured to identify a condition of the communications link based on accumulated data indicative of the data traffic. Data indicative of an identified condition of the communications link is received from the analytics function. An indication of the identified condition is rendered on a display device of the computing device.

Abstract: Cellular network communication functionality of a device is extended to another device that may or may not include cellular communications functionality. The cellular network communications functionality is extended over a datalink layer communication channel that is established between the devices. A cellular data channel is established over the datalink layer communication channel via a cellular interface translator of a server device and a cellular interface translator of a client device. Communication data is transmitted between the cellular communication hardware system of the server device and the cellular interface translator of the client device via the cellular data channel generated over the datalink layer communication channel.
