Publication number: 20240141624Abstract: Techniques for orchestrating activities at an earthmoving site are described. In an example, a stream of images are captured by an image capturing device removably fixed to a mobile earthmoving machine with a field of view overlapping with a working range of an attachment coupled to the mobile earthmoving machine. Using a selected subset of images from the stream captured during a time period, a first trained algorithm generates a probability that the subset of images depicts an action performable by the machine. Based on the probability, it is determined that the machine was performing the action during the time period, and in response, an image from the subset of images is selected. The image and an indication that the machine was performing the action during the time period are transmitted to a remote server system through a network.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2022Publication date: May 2, 2024Applicant: Trimble Inc.Inventors: Karoliina Torttila, Jim Coleman, Robert Banfield, Vishakaraj Shanmugavel

Eye Relief Adjustment Mechanism And Headset Display Device Including Eye Relief Adjustment Mechanism
Publication number: 20240134145Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to an adjustment mechanism for adjusting an eye-to-lens distance of a headset display device. The adjustment mechanism can include an adjustment wheel that is rotatable by a user, a pinion gear fixed to a screw, and a threaded member receiving the screw and mounted to a forehead pad frame supporting a forehead pad. The adjustment wheel can include an internal bevel gear ring. The pinion gear is rotated by rotation of the internal bevel gear ring, and the screw rotates with the pinion gear. The pinion gear and the screw can rotate about a second axis. The threaded member moves along the screw, as the screw rotates, to move the forehead pad to adjust the eye-to-lens distance. The internal bevel gear ring, the pinion gear, and the screw are configured to allow additional components to pass through an interior of the adjustment wheel.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2022Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Robert Coleman SKELTON, Brett Delainey CHRISTIE -
Patent number: 11950789Abstract: A cleaning module for cleaning bone stock used in surgical procedures. The cleaning module includes a shell. The shell defines a void space to receive the bone stock. A cutter is rotating mounted in the void space. A shaving tube, also able to rotate, is coaxially disposed about the cutter. The cutter and shaving tube have complementary edges. A drive assembly rotates the cutter and shaving tube at different speeds, at different times or in different directions relative to the cutter. As a result of the rotation of the cutter and shaving tube soft tissue adhering to the bone stock is cut away from the bone stock by the relative rotating of the cutting edges of the cutter and shaving tube.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Stryker CorporationInventors: Robert E. Patent number: 11938617Abstract: Examples described herein are directed to methods, computer-readable media, and systems for controlling an end of arm tool with one or more suction zones to pick up an item. Sensor data regarding the item is obtained. The sensor data is used to determine which of the one or more suction zones should be used to pick up the item. A rotational orientation is also determined that orients the determined suction zone(s) with the item. The end of arm tool is then instructed to create a suction force at the one or more suction zones and to pick up the item using the suction force.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Jude Jonas, Bertan Atamer, Gregory Thomas Merlino, Gregory Coleman, Robert Kevin Katzschmann, Erica Aduh, Manikantan Nambi, Beth A. Publication number: 20230382174Abstract: A heavy vehicle and machinery trailer having: (i) a trailer base with wheels and suspension; (ii) a trailer bed supported on the trailer base by the suspension; (iii) loading ramps connected to the trailer bed where the suspension, or other methods such as hydraulically operated landing legs, are adapted to allow an operator to alter the pitch and/or roll angle of the trailer bed relative to the ground surface and wherein where the loading ramps are adapted to have varying lengths such that the ramps can be evenly pitched when they are extended to the ground on a sloped surface. The trailer has a hydraulic system under the control of an electrical controller which is operated by a user. The electrical controller has a preset matrix of safe loading and unloading parameters which it uses to determine whether the sensed state of the trailer is safe for loading or unloading.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2021Publication date: November 30, 2023Applicant: CONPLANT PTY LTD.Inventor: Ian Robert Coleman

Publication number: 20220406115Abstract: This invention relates to a system for voting in national, state or local elections for election of officers or on any pertinent issue. The system is equally applicable to periodic polling of public opinion by any private or public agency on matters of public concern. The system embodies the complete voting process beginning with the registration and identification of the eligible voter thru the ultimate count of the complete vote as well as an easy audit system. As such, it embodies and envisions new and novel techniques and procedures in which the combination of a number of new and novel devices and mechanisms are utilized. This Voting system allows voters to securely vote online or at a polling location on paper ballots. This voting system allows every voter to receive an exact copy of the ballot submitted and a way to verify online that the ballot was counted correctly. This method allows the public to audit an election while every voter remains anonymous.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2022Publication date: December 22, 2022Inventors: Ornella Lis Mazza, Robert Coleman Hart
