  • Patent number: 11246685
Abstract: The present invention relates to a connection assembly for attaching a dental component to a dental implant, a dental component for the connection assembly and a method to use the connection assembly. The connection assembly (100; 1100; 2100; 3100) is removably attachable to the dental implant (10; 1010; 2010; 3010), preferably with the dental component (20; 1020; 2020; 3020) attached to the connection assembly, and a dental component is attachable to the connection assembly in a pre-fastened state or a fastened state. The pre-fastened state, when the connection assembly is attached to the dental implant, the connection assembly allows for adjustment of a relative position and/or orientation between the dental component and the dental implant.

  • Publication number: 20220008171
Abstract: The present invention relates to an implant system for implantation into a zygomatic bone. The implant system forms a dental substructure and comprises an apical system end and a coronal system end. The coronal system end includes a coronal superstructure interface along a superstructure interface axis for supporting a dental superstructure, wherein the implant system has a length in a range of 30 mm to 60 mm and includes at least two components.

  • Publication number: 20190247150
Abstract: The present invention provides a dental component (20; 120) forming the basis for at least a part of a prosthetic dental arch and comprising at least two subcomponents (21, 22; 121, 122) and a connecting device (30; 130) for compensating an offset in position and/or orientation between the subcomponents (21, 22; 121, 122). Each subcomponent (21, 22; 121, 122) includes a mounting portion (25, 26; 125, 126) for mounting the dental component (20; 120) on at least one dental implant or at least one dental implant analogue (11, 12; 111). The connecting device (30; 130) comprises a rotary compensation means (50, 60; 150, 160) that connects the two dental subcomponents (21, 22; 121, 122).

  • Patent number: 10350035
Abstract: The present invention relates to a placement device for a dental component, a method for handling a dental component with a placement device, a dental component for placement with a placement device and a set comprising a placement device and a dental component. The placement device (1) for a dental component (2) is preferably an implant and comprises a proximal end (11), a distal end (12) and a coupling mechanism (20) for coupling the distal end (12) to the dental component. The coupling mechanism includes at least one movable pin (21) having a longitudinal axis (A1) and being movable along its longitudinal axis (A1) relative to the placement device (1) for engaging the dental component. It also includes at least one engagement part (28) at the distal end of the placement device (1) for engaging the dental component, the engagement part having a longitudinal axis (A2).

  • Publication number: 20170202649
Abstract: Provisional prosthetic systems and methods of coupling such provisional prosthetic systems to a dental implant are disclosed. The provisional prosthetic system can include at least one dental component having a provisional connection feature and a prosthesis. A clinician can couple the prosthesis to the dental component using a bonding agent. The clinician can then drill a hole through the prosthesis. The hole can be configured to receive a fastener to securely fasten the prosthesis and dental component to the implant.
