  • Patent number: 5083348
Abstract: A closure device, particularly usable in ski boots composed of a shell with which a front quarter and a rear quarter are associated, includes a lever which is pivoted, at one end, to the rear quarter or to a slider which is slidable at an adapted guide to which an adjustable-length rod is pivoted in an intermediate region. The rod interacts, at its free end, with a locking element which is located at the rear quarter or on the slider. A first traction element rigidly associated with the shell and at least one second traction element, which is coupled, at its ends, to a member in relative motion with respect to the pivoting axis of said lever and/or to a member which is fixed with respect to the pivoting axis, are furthermore associated with the slider. The device furthermore includes elements adapted to limit the opening angle between the lever and the rod as well as a resilient member adapted to keep the free end of the rod in contact with the locking element.

  • Patent number: 5065532
Abstract: The closure device includes a lever pivoted at a pivoting axis to the rear quarter of a ski boot; each of two cables has a first end connected to the front quarter, is guided at a slider on the lever and has a second end connected to the rear quarter. The slider position is adjustable and the lever can take up twice the length of cable with respect to traditional levers.

  • Patent number: 5065530
Abstract: A closure device particularly for ski boots composed of a shell with which a front quarter and a rear quarter are associated. The device is constituted by at least one traction element which has at least one point which is fixed, when the quarter opens or closes, to a moving part of the boot and at least one portion which is slidably associated with a static part of the boot. The traction element, which is advantageously non-extendable, furthermore interacts with means for tensioning and locking the cable.

  • Patent number: 5062225
Abstract: A closure device for ski boots includes a lever and a slider adapted to actuate a cable for closing the quarters; the slider can be moved for lowering or increasing the relative length of the cable for adjusting the closure strength; the cable engages the lever at fixed points so that the slider is not directly subjected to stresses and particularly to an overturning moment.

  • Patent number: 5062226
Abstract: The securing device includes a rear quarter associated with a shell, and a flap which embraces the rear heel region. The device further has at least one rod-like element which is freely articulated to the rear quarter and interacts, by means of a plate, with the flap upon fastening of the quarter. A resilient member is advantageously provided and interacts with the rod-like element.

  • Patent number: 5060403
Abstract: The adjustable closure device includes a tensioning means, such as a lever, for actuating a cable adapted to tighten the front and rear quarters of the ski boot; the front quarter has a stop element for engaging the front quarter with the shell when the skier extends his/her leg; a release means is provided for releasing the stop element disengaging the front quarter from the shell and thus obtaining a walking position.

  • Patent number: 4870723
Abstract: The multiple-function operating device comprises a containment body which is associatable with a ski boot and supports a lever which is accessible from the outside and is operatively connected, with the interposing of a ratchet-like assembly, with a central axle rotatably supported by said containment body. The peculiarity of the invention lies in that it comprises a selector which can be operated from the outside of the containment body and can be selectively coupled with a first and at least a second winding pulley, respectively of a first and a second cable and the like. Members are furthermore provided for removably locking the rotation of said pulleys in the direction of unwinding of the cables.

  • Patent number: 4826098
Abstract: Brake, particularly for the locking of tensioning elements provided on ski boots, constituted by an arm eccentrically pivoted to a containment body and having a curved portion engaging the groove of a pulley adapted to wind a traction element such as a cable; an elastic means forces the arm curved portion in the groove, means being provided for the disengagement of the arm from the pulley.

  • Patent number: 4787124
Abstract: Multiple-function actuation device for ski boots, consisting of a containment body associable with a ski boot and supporting an actuation assembly for the actuation of at least one drive shaft kinematically connected at least to a first winder and to a second winder for a traction element connected to at least one movable element of the boot. Means for kinematic switching are adapted to kinematically connect the actuation assembly alternately to the first winder or to the second winder mans for the releasable locking of the rotation in the direction of unwinding are applied to the winders.

  • Patent number: 4728115
Abstract: The ski binding comprises a body which can be fixed to a ski and is removably accomodatable in a recess provided in the lower face of the sole of a ski boot. The body defines a fixed coupling element which is engageable with a first abutment provided at one end of said recess and supports a movable coupling element which can move with respect to the body and is removably engageable with a second abutment provided at the other end of the recess. The movable coupling element is connected to a piston which is sealingly movable in a fluid chamber connected to a tank chamber, wherein an operating piston, is sealingly movable, and protrudes from said body, and interacts with a portion of the recess upon the application of the boot to the binding, to feed the fluid from the tank chamber to the fluid chamber, with consequent motion of the movable coupling element to engage with the second abutment.
