Abstract: In the process and plant for forming double-pouch containers, two continuous external ribbons (3), facing one another, are fed in an advancement direction to an infeeding zone where a third, central ribbon (5) is inserted between the external ribbons (3). The pouches are formed by injecting a forming fluid between the external ribbons (3) in order to determine an expansion thereof against compartments of two half-molds having a shape which corresponds to a final pouch shape. Each container has two similar pouches, one facing another, which are defined by a pair of external walls and by a central wall coupled along a perimeter thereof to the external walls. The process enables rapid and economical formation of double-pouch containers.

Abstract: A container (1) for a flowable product comprises a first wall (2) and a second wall (3) joined along their respective edges by means of a peelable weld (4) and defining a cavity (7) for the product and an opening zone (5) obtained in the weld (4) defined by peelable parts (9) of the weld; when the container is to be opened, the parts (9) are folded outwards, in such a way as to uncover those faces (10) which were inside while the container was closed, making them accessible to contact by the mouth of a user. Arresting embossments (14) delimit the extent of peeling open of the parts (9). Releasably snap-fitting embossments (18 and 16) respectively permit maintaining open of the parts (9) and r-eclosing of the parts (9).

Abstract: A method of packaging an edible product, which significantly simplifies the manufacturing procedure, includes the introduction of an insert (8) into the base of a cavity (4) of a disposable package (2), which also serves as a mold, before pouring-in the product in a liquid form. The package (2) consists of a pair of shells (2) with opposing concavities, heat sealed along their edges (3). The method is applicable in the food industry, particularly in the manufacture of sweets.
