A roller is connected with the body, and a plurality of sensors is connected with the body. The plurality of sensors can acquire roller data and wellbore data. The roller data and wellbore data can be used to determine at least one of the velocity and position of the apparatus. The apparatus can also have an electronic module that is in communication with the plurality of of sensors.

The grip assembly also includes a force amplifier in force transmitting relation with the centralizer, wherein the force amplifier transfers a force in a first direction to a much larger force in a second direction when the centralizer is locked by the locking device.
