The social media multimedia container is operable to comprise one or more applications, widgets, pieces of content, and other multimedia containers. The method further includes displaying a first plurality of images each corresponding to the first social media application and the second social media application in a linear configuration and displaying a first image corresponding to the first social media widget. The first image is adjacent to a second image of the plurality of images corresponding to the first social media application.
