  • Patent number: 10781599
Abstract: A pool cleaner comprises a body, a diaphragm cassette unit arranged inside the body, and a retention mechanism mounted on the body. The body extends between a water connection end and foot end, a foot end opening being defined at the foot end. The diaphragm cassette unit is arranged inside the body and includes a cassette extending to the foot end and a flexible diaphragm inside the cassette also extending to the foot end. The retention mechanism is mounted on the body and is operable to allow removal and reinstallation of the diaphragm cassette unit through the foot end opening.

  • Publication number: 20180283030
Abstract: A pool cleaner includes a body, a water source connection, a gear drive and a suspension arrangement. The body defines a suction opening on a lower surface thereof. The gear drive is mounted to the body and includes a drive housing and a pair of gears with intermeshing teeth rotatably mounted in the drive housing. The drive housing is in fluid communication with the water source connection such that associated water flow is directed around the pair of gears, imparting rotational motion thereto. The suspension arrangement is driven by the gear drive and supports the body for motion over a pool surface. An alternator can be driven by the gear drive and power various electric components. A skirt assembly and ducts above the water source connection can improve suction. The gear drive can be used to power other pool devices.

  • Patent number: 9045914
Abstract: A net for use with a pool cleaning system includes a net material portion and a frame body. The frame body has a flexible inner frame portion providing structural support but deformable when pressed against a surface, and an outer, flexible rim portion that is more malleable than the flexible inner frame portion and configured to provide a flexible rim edge for scooping.

  • Patent number: 8728406
Abstract: Dispensers, principally of water-treatment chemicals, are detailed. The floating dispensers may be inherently unstable in use, rotating approximately ninety degrees (from a generally vertical position to a generally horizontal one) over the useful lifespan of the chemicals initially contained within. Movement of the dispensers to horizontal positions signals users to replace the depleted chemicals. The dispensers also may be stacked into smaller volumes for transit and storage and need not include a separate component for flow adjustment. Rotation of its components additionally may create a “dial-a-dosage” feature of the dispenser, effectively varying depletion rate of the chemicals contained therein.

  • Publication number: 20100122949
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide new design innovations that significantly improve the performance of the currently-available pool accessories. Each element of the system has unique features that provide benefits in use, although is some instances, maximum benefit is provided when all the elements are used as one cohesive system.

  • Publication number: 20100056969
Abstract: Products performing combined or alternative functions of bandages and boots are detailed. Versions of the products may include a main body with split extensions, each of which may be wrapped independently of the other. The main body is designed to cover the lower leg (or other portion) of a horse (or other animal), with the extensions applied as required to achieve optimal fit. The products may be substantially shorter than conventional lengths of bandages yet nevertheless may cover the same amount of leg as do conventional bandages.
