  • Patent number: 9139950
Abstract: An automatic lint filter cleaning and lint collection system for a laundry dryer. The apparatus comprises a lint filter pivot chamber, a lint collection chamber, a lint filter housing pivotably mounted between the pivot chamber and collection chamber, a flange between the pivot chamber and collection chamber wherein the filter housing is biased into abutment with the flange, a lint collection container, an auger rotatably mounted within the collection chamber, and a drive assembly operably connected to the lint filter housing and auger. The drive assembly is operable to pivot the filter housing away from the flange and then to release the filter housing such that the filter housing forcibly returns into abutment with the flange and thereby causes the lint filter to release lint into the collection chamber. The drive assembly is operable to rotate the auger and thereby move lint from the collection chamber into the collection container.

  • Publication number: 20140110447
Abstract: This invention is a collapsible, detachable shelf for two-wheeled hand trucks, as well as other hand-propelled utility vehicles, designed to provide users with a table-like work surface and storage compartment. The shelf adapts universally to all existing models and brands of hand trucks and convertible carts, by use of clamps using hanging rods or like methods. Further original hand truck and shelf designs may accommodate new shelves, thus excluding clamp usage. The work surface benefits occupations, including but not limited to stock clerks and delivery persons, providing portable workspace suitable for writing and holding paper and office supplies. An alternate shelf has a storage compartment which holds job-appropriate items such as scanning devices, hand-held computers, pricing guns, and printers. The shelf, in its collapsed position, lies recessed within or behind the vehicle, providing no interference with normal freight.

  • Patent number: 5246403
Abstract: A belt tensioning assembly that simultaneously controls belt tension and belt drive speed is provided. A pivotable bracket is pivotably attached to a lawn mower or other light duty, belt driven equipment. A variable speed pulley for holding a pair of rotatable belts is attached to a slide bracket and the slide bracket is slidably attached to the pivotable bracket. A spring or other biasing mechanism can be used to connect the slide bracket to the pivotable bracket to maintain substantially constant belt tension.
