  • Publication number: 20180173248
Abstract: A water conservation system adapted to control the flow of water to a structure comprising a valve assembly having an inlet adapted to receive a water flow, an outlet adapted to allow the water flow to exit the valve assembly, a flow detector adapted to measure the water flow through the valve assembly, a shutoff valve adapted to stop the water flow through the valve assembly, a power source adapted to provide power to the valve assembly, a circuit board that includes at least one microchip, and a microprocessor that is adapted to operatively communicate with the valve assembly. A method for conserving water comprising providing a water conservation system and controlling the flow of water to the structure.

  • Patent number: 7988081
Abstract: Condiment grinder and dispenser in which the usual shield for protecting the adjustment screw on the end of the drive shaft is replaced and the screw is secured against accidental removal and loss by providing a stop structure which is attached to or integral part of the end of the drive shaft. This structure, unlike a shield, does not interfere with the adjustment of the coarseness of the grind produced by the grinding dispenser, and yet maintains the integrity of the device without undue complexity or manufacturing expense.

  • Publication number: 20100239735
Abstract: Adjustable mold with a cylindrical sidewall-forming structure and a food support member slidably attached to the sidewall-forming structure to provide an adjustable molding space. Preferably, one or more stop members is provided on one of the parts, together with a lock structure on the other of the parts. By means of the lock structure, the stop members can be positioned at a variable distance from the food support surface while providing solid horizontal support surfaces to support the stop members and hold the sidewall-forming structure securely in place.

  • Publication number: 20060179669
Abstract: The can opener is a side-cutting opener with handle levers which pivot vertically towards and away from one another. A rotary cutter wheel is normally retracted to a position inside one of said handle levers, but is thrust outwardly to cut into the rim of the can when the handle levers are squeezed together. A drive wheel engages the rim and is rotated by means of a rotary drive handle to cut the top off the can. Spreading the handle levers apart causes the cutting wheel to retract at the end of the cutting operation to release the cut-off top of the can.

  • Publication number: 20060037176
Abstract: The handle is ergonomically shaped. It is given a wasp-like shape, with a flexible cover. The handle is used both as a fixed, permanent handle for a single kitchen implement, and as a handle for receiving and holding interchangeable kitchen implements. In one preferred embodiment, the handle has a fluid silicone gel layer underneath an outer-cover to better conform the shape of the handle to the user's hand.

  • Publication number: 20050160605
Abstract: A measuring cutter for food in block form, such as butter. The cutter has a blade with measurement marks spaced from one another in a first direction, and a cutting edge perpendicular to that direction. The food block is aligned with a measurement mark, and the cutter is pivoted about the cutting edge and thrust downwardly so as to sever a predetermined quantity of butter from the bar in a single stroke. Preferably, the cutting blade is as wide as or wider than the width of the block being cut.
