  • Patent number: 8039558
Abstract: It is depicted a polymer composition with elastomeric properties at wide temperature ranges of the type comprising polymers and/copolymers resulting from substituted or unsubstituted vinyl aromatic monomers and from dienic monomers, which is homogeneous and compatible in nature, with such composition being based on stereoregular polymers and without requiring the additional use of compatibilizing agents. Likewise, it is depicted the process to obtain the same, as well as to hydrogenise them, without requiring the use of additional catalyzers or processes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 28, 2010
Date of Patent: October 18, 2011
Assignees: Dyansol Elastomeros, S.A. de C.V., Centro de Investigacion en Quimica Aplicada (CIQA)
Inventors: Sergei Kniajanski, Maricela Garcia-Zamora, Sergio Corona-Galvan, Rodolfo Flores-Flores, Marcela Garcia-Ramirez, Gregorio Cadena-Pliego
  • Patent number: 7851552
Abstract: The invention relates to a polymeric composition having elastomeric properties over wide temperature ranges, of the type that comprises polymers and/of copolymers which are derived from substituted or non-substituted vinylaromatic monomers and compatible, homogeneous diene monomers. The inventive composition is based on stereoregular polymers and does not require the use of compatibilizer agents. The invention further relates to the method of obtaining said compositions and of hydrogenating same without the need for additional catalysts or methods.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 15, 2003
Date of Patent: December 14, 2010
Assignees: Dynasol Elastomeros, S.A. DE C.V., Centrode Investigacion En Quimica Aplicada (CIQA)
Inventors: Sergei Kniajanski, Maricela Garcia-Zamora, Sergio Corona-Galvan, Rodolfo Flores-Flores, Marcela Garcia-Ramirez, Gregorio Cadenas-Pliego

  • Patent number: 7608669
Abstract: This invention describes the obtainment of impact-resistant materials from a block copolymer that comprises as monomers an alkadiene (conjugated diene) and a vinyl aromatic compound, which is used as impact modifier to obtain such materials and in which, at least, one of the blocks of the vinyl aromatic compound is polydisperse. The invention allows obtaining morphologies such as rods, points or capsules by incorporating such copolymer into a polymeric matrix derived from vinyl aromatic monomers independently from other agents such as chain transfer agents, and achieving increases, in the impact values up to 50% through the use of the copolymer of this invention.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 8, 2002
Date of Patent: October 27, 2009
Assignee: Dynasol Elastomeros, S.A. De C.V.
