  • Patent number: 11871504
Abstract: An electronic system includes an external jacket; a wall of an internal cavity that is to be cooled; at least one fixed connection fixing the external wall of the internal cavity that is to be cooled to the external jacket; a heat-transport fluid cooling circuit comprising grooves on the external surface of the wall of the internal cavity and a sleeve comprising a flexible portion positioned flush with the external surface of the external wall of the internal cavity, thereby forming mini-canals with said grooves; a radial extension of the wall of the internal cavity creating connecting points intended to hold the sleeve in place; and a space between the external jacket and the sleeve at the flexible portion of the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 8344626
Abstract: The invention relates to a microwave output transition for a high-power electron tube comprising a body (78) of tubular shape, along a longitudinal axis ZZ?, having two ends (80, 90), a passage (79) between the two ends that has internal surfaces for propagating electromagnetic waves, one of the ends (90), in the form of a circular cylindrical tube, comprising a conical internal propagation surface (130) and the other end (80), in the form of a tube of rectangular cross section, having two long sides (84, 85) and two short sides (86, 87) perpendicular to the long sides, the passage having two plane internal propagation surfaces (120, 122) parallel to the long sides (84, 85) and two other plane internal surfaces (124, 126) parallel to the short sides (86, 87). Each of the plane internal propagation surfaces (120, 122) parallel to the long sides (84, 85) is joined to the conical internal propagation surface (130) via a respective curved connecting surface (132, 133) having bidirectional radii of curvature.

  • Patent number: 8193691
Abstract: An electron tube includes a microwave structure, an electron gun having a cathode-wehnelt assembly, with axis for providing a linear electron beam along the same axis in a circular cylindrical passage with axis of the microwave structure, the cathode comprising a centre of rotation of the beam on the said axis of the cathode. The electron gun and the microwave structure each comprise portions of spherical surfaces in contact inscribed on one and the same sphere of radius centred on the centre of the cathode so as to form a swivel for angular adjustment of the axis of the cathode and to make the axis of the electron beam coincide with the axis of the circular cylindrical passage of the microwave structure. Applications include microwave electron tubes such as travelling wave tubes and klystrons.
