Abstract: Novel aqueous coolants with improved temperature stability contain (A) water; (B) at least one alkylene glycol, alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether, or glycerol; (C) at least one phosphate, carbonate, and/or sulfate in the form of its free acids or its salts; (D) at least one hard water stabilizer; and optionally, further inhibitors and typical coolant constituents. The aqueous coolants are useful, for example, in internal combustion engines.

Abstract: A device for emergency operation of pneumatic or hydraulic actuators. For normal operation of the actuator, an operation cycle includes at least a proportional valve for switching to different operational conditions of the actuator and related engine components. The proportional valve is arranged in a supply line of pressurized liquid/gas and in a drain line connected to a tank, and control means for operation control and supervising functions. An emergency cycle is attached to the operation cycle of the actuator which is provided with: at least one solenoid valve for initiating an emergency operation impulse in case of detected failures; a plurality of pneumatically/hydraulically operated switch valves which may be activated through said impulse of an emergency signal from said solenoid valve; and whereby the emergency cycle is adapted to bypass said proportional valve in emergency situations and to either block said actuator in its actual position or to bring said actuator in a predefined safe position.

The control system also includes a plurality of actuators that can be controlled and/or regulated to modify the dynamics of the vehicle, such as steering, adjustable independently of the driver, on a front and/or rear axle of the vehicle, a chassis adjustable independently of the driver, a brake adjustable independently of the driver, and a drive train adjustable independently of the driver. The driving dynamics controller determines a central control specification from the setpoint specifications and the driving state variables and sends it to a distribution algorithm that distributes the control specification into manipulated variables for driving the actuators.

The cabinet has a temperature controlled cavity configured and arranged to contain the container of liquid, and the delivery tube of the container of liquid extends through the compartment within the cavity. The valve assembly within the compartment acts on the delivery tube to control flow of the liquid out of the delivery tube, wherein the container of liquid and the delivery tube proximate the valve assembly are temperature controlled within the cavity.
