Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying the most impactful moments or segments of music, which are those most likely to elicit a chills effect in a human listener. A digital music signal is processed using two or more objective processing metrics that measure acoustic features known to be able to elicit the chills effect. Individual detection events are identified in the output of each metric based on the output being above or below thresholds relative to the overall output. A combination algorithm aggregates concurrent detection events to generate a continuous concurrence data set of the number of concurrent detection events during the music signal, which can be calculated per beat. A phrase detection algorithm can identify impactful segments of the music based on at least one of peaks, peak-proximity, and a moving average of the continuous concurrence data.

Abstract: A mobile transport device and a method for introducing an installation frame into a shaft, in particular an elevator shaft, are used for transporting an installation frame and for introducing the installation frame into the shaft. The installation frame has a base frame and a bearing frame on which the installation frame is supported from above. The transport device additionally has a fixing device arranged on the base frame for fixing the base frame to a shaft opening of a shaft wall of the shaft and for preventing the transport device from tilting. The bearing frame is supported by the base frame and is movable in the horizontal direction relative to the base frame such that, when the base frame is arranged outside of the shaft, the bearing frame , and thus also the installation frame, can be moved into the shaft from outside the shaft through the shaft opening.

Abstract: Configuring a cellular telecommunications network base station repeater for use at a particular location includes performing data collection activity at the location to obtain an indication of the transmit frequency of a nearby base station of the cellular telecommunications network. The repeater is then set to amplify received signals at that frequency. By only amplifying this particular frequency, the repeater can provide cellular telecommunications coverage at a location (for example a basement) where coverage might not otherwise be available by amplifying only the relevant frequency. The invention also anticipates other fabrication methods and the use of various spectra of LEDs to cause diagnostic markers to fluoresce.
