  • Publication number: 20220194506
Abstract: A light for an ebike, comprising three LEDs, a rechargeable light battery, a charging port, to receive power from an accessory port of an ebike, and control circuitry, programmed so that when the power drain of the LEDs is less than the power input from the accessory port, the battery can be charged and when the power drain of the LEDs is greater than the power input from the accessory port the LEDs can draw power from both the battery and the accessory port.

  • Patent number: 9540064
Abstract: A lamp with a housing; a battery mounted within the housing; an illumination LED or array thereof mounted on the housing; a status display LED array mounted on the housing; an inertial sensor for sensing change of position and/or orientation of the housing; circuitry adapted to control the lamp between a quiescent state when no LED is ON, an active state when the status display LED array is ON and an illumination state when at least one illumination LED is ON and to: switch from the quiescent state to the active state on detection via the inertial sensor of a position/orientation user action of a first type alone, switching ON one or more status LED and to switch from the active state to the illumination state on detection via the inertial sensor of a position/orientation user action of a second type alone, switching ON one or more illumination LED.

  • Patent number: 9221510
Abstract: A lamp has a body 100 with a printed circuit board 102 and a battery 104 mounted in the body. An LED 105, mounted on an emitter plate 101, and a reflector 106 are housed on the body at an opposite end to a charging port 103. Adjacent to the port 103 an array of three illumination status blue LEDS 108 and an array of five battery-status red LEDs 109 are provided. Components 103 to 109 are connected to a power management circuit 110, including an Integrated Circuit 111, mounted on the PCB 102. The PCB 102 further includes a capacitive Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) accelerometer 123.

  • Patent number: 6896276
Abstract: The forks of a bicycle are carried by a head tube shaft and are angled forward and comprise two outer support tubes, one on either side of the wheel. An inner suspension tube is telescopically housed in the outer tube and connects to the wheel axle. A suspension spring within the outer tube urges down. A torque reaction arm is journalled on the axle and carries a brake calliper within which passes a brake disc. At the rear end of the arm, a rear link is pivotally connected and leads up to an upper pivot point on the outer tube. Application of braking torque causes the rear link to act upwards on the outer tube, providing anti-dive.
