Abstract: A present novel and non-trivial system, device, and method for presenting flight information of a plurality of aircraft on a display unit. An image generator (“IG”) is programmed to receive a first request for flight information for one of a plurality of aircraft; receive first flight information of a viewer aircraft when included in the request; send a second request for second flight information of a target aircraft for each target aircraft included in the request; receive the second flight information; retrieve terrain data corresponding the flight information of a focal aircraft; generate an image data set representative of a three-dimensional scene of a selectable view comprised of the sky, the spherical surface of the Earth, a first aircraft symbol corresponding to the received flight information, and a first curved flight path; and provide the image data set to a display unit.

Abstract: In a player/recorder system, a graphical user interface method allows central control of one or more tracks of a plurality of audio processing modules. The plurality of audio processing modules are connected to a computer system having a processor and a display. The method includes the steps of generating a first display portion on the display by the processor, the first display portion including one or more control boxes to control a corresponding one or more tracks of the plurality of audio processing modules and generating a second display portion on the display by the processor, the second display including a central control mechanism for controlling all of the one or more tracks of the audio processing modules.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for storing digitized audio/video tracks. A plurality of lists are created wherein each of the plurality of lists defines a characteristic of the audio/visual data. The plurality of lists are linked according to a data structure such that performing an edit operation on a portion of the audio/visual data results in the edit operation being applied to the plurality of lists.

Abstract: The present system edits digitized audio/video data. The system comprises a plurality of stations containing the digitized audio/video data and an editing station located remotely from the plurality of stations and coupled in communication with the plurality of stations via a network. The editing station may also include a graphical interface and accept input via the graphical interface wherein the input specifies edit functions to be performed on the digitized audio/video data residing on the plurality of audio stations.

Abstract: A system and method for playing and recording digital media such as digital audio. The system allows for seamless punch-out (exiting record mode) during a recording session by continuing to transfer playback data for a sequence from the mass storage to a buffer simultaneous with transferring record data for the sequence into the buffer and the mass storage. This allows the user to seamlessly switch between record mode and playback mode, presenting only a negligible (if any) delay between the time the user requests punch-out and the time the user experiences the correct original playback data. In a preferred embodiment, the invention is implemented as a digital audio playing and recording system providing seamless punch-out for multiple channels of digital audio using RAM buffers and rotating magnetic disk devices for storing the digital audio.
