  • Patent number: 9943385
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an inner structure as an insertion geometry and/or as a rotation lock of a ceramic implant or of a ceramic attachment element. Thereby, a rotating disc for removing ceramic material is advanced in an advance direction of the rotating disc perpendicular to the rotation axis of the disc, into a proximally accessible surface of the ceramic implant or into an end surface of a ceramic attachment element.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 9, 2013
Date of Patent: April 17, 2018
    Assignee: Z-SYSTEMS SCHWEIK AG
Inventors: Ernst Thomke, Roger Staudenmann, Thomas Hug, Rubino Di Girolamo
  • Patent number: 9844425
Abstract: A dental implant system with a ceramic implant and with an abutment, which moreover includes an insert element for the ceramic implant. The insert element is either manufactured from non-ceramic material or is manufactured essentially of injection molded ceramic. The insert element matches with a recess a proximal region of the ceramic implant and is inserted or insertable into the recess. The insert element serves for the fastening of the abutment and for this is equipped with fastening structures. The insert element, which is arranged in the recess of the ceramic implant, is connectable or connected to the ceramic implant by way of a frictional connection and/or positive connection with respect to axial traction.

  • Patent number: 9375294
Abstract: A method for producing an implant including the following steps is provided: —providing a core element having a first material; —providing a negative mold of the implant; —inserting the core element and at least one anchoring element made of a second material into the negative mold, wherein the second material is thermoplastic, —closing the negative mold and applying an elevated deformation temperature, wherein at the deformation temperature the second material is plastically deformable, viscous, or liquid and the first material is solid, —cooling the negative mold together with the core element and the anchoring element, and—removing the resulting implant from the core element and the anchoring element from the negative mold.

  • Publication number: 20140227662
Abstract: The ceramic implant system includes an implant with a proximal region having an inner cone, and an abutment with a distal region having an outer cone. The distal region of the abutment and the proximal region of the implant in a clamping region in each case include at least one conical clamping surface which, in pairs, are adapted to one another in an accurately fitting manner such that the abutment and the implant of the ceramic implant system are connectable by way of a clamping connection.
