    Abstract: A replaceable housing for a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device can include an inner module, a cap outer housing and a base outer housing. The inner module can include a first inner module housing, a second inner module housing, and a tongue including a portion of the first inner module housing and a portion of the second inner module housing. The cap outer housing can include a slot along an inner length of the cap outer housing. The base outer housing can also include a slot along an inner length of the base outer housing. The tongue can include a portion of the first inner module housing and a portion of the second inner module housing.
