    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards having a user interface that displays a number of cards or windows. A user can implement a command where the user interface will automatically change the position of the displayed cards to show regions of interest which are the parts of the cards that a user may have interested in. The user interest can be determined in accordance with user preference information. Optionally, cards which do not have regions of interest are removed from a display area and such cards are replaced with new cards that do have regions of interest.

    Abstract: A vertical band-saw has a base, a conveyor assembly, an auxiliary pressing assembly, a band-saw assembly and an adjusting assembly. The base has two guide panels mounted on the base in alignment. The conveyor assembly is mounted on the base and has a front conveyor belt and a rear conveyor belt. The auxiliary pressing assembly is connected to the base above the conveyor assembly and has a top pressing wheel, a front lateral pressing wheel and a rear lateral pressing wheel. The band-saw assembly is movably connected to the base between the conveyor belts near the guide panels and has a casing, a drive motor and a band saw. The adjusting assembly is connected to the base to allow the band-saw assembly to be moved relative to the base simply and conveniently and has an actuating device, two driving screws and two bushing devices.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus of constructing a hardware architecture for transform functions is disclosed, which uses a single-input-parallel-output method for processing operations. The transform function has operations of multiplication, path-selection, and accumulation to be executed. The fixed-one-input multipliers first multiply an input signal by all transform coefficients. Then a path-selection unit determines correct signal paths and delivers product results to the corresponding accumulators for processing accumulation. Finally, multipliers perform the multiplications of the accumulated values and a constant to obtain output signals.

A universal linkage of a universal connector is connected between the two oil pressure rotary units. The oil pressure rotary units are screwed to the screw rods of the elevation adjusting rods so that the elevation adjusting rods of the screw rod will rise upward or descend so as to adjust the elevation of the saw teeth of the saw unit to a desired value. A universal linkage of a universal connector is connected between the two oil pressure rotary units so that the screw rods rise and descend synchronously, and thus the two elevation adjusting rods rise and descend synchronously.
