Abstract: A method of providing at least one communications service provider a connection to an Internet Protocol, IP, server in a perimeter network, the IP server providing a service over a public IP network, the method comprising the steps of detecting, in the perimeter network, an irregularity in IP traffic arriving at the perimeter network over the public IP network, disregarding, in the perimeter network, IP traffic arriving at the perimeter network over the public IP network, and enabling, in the perimeter network, a connection between the IP server and the at least one communications service provider for the service provided by the IP server over at least one private IP network.

Abstract: An application server generates a script and transmits the script to a first user equipment. The script is transmitted to the first user equipment in a request for establishment of a communication session between the first user equipment and a second user equipment. Execution of the script by the first user equipment controls handling of the communication session between the first user equipment and the second user equipment. Thus, by sending the script to the first user equipment, the application server controls the manner in which the first user equipment handles the communication session.

Abstract: There is provided a mechanism for having an operator of an IP network that is applied for transferring the media transfer session stream for an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, call to relate this stream to a specific operator of the home-network of the calling party User Equipment. By having, e.g., a Session Border Gateway, SBG, insert a specific signature, associated with the operator sourcing the media transfer session for the calling party UE, into the path carrying the media transfer session stream, the operator of the IP transport network is, by discovery of the specific signature, and its characteristics enabled to discover the operator sourcing the media transfer session.

Abstract: There are provided mechanisms for registering and subsequently communicating with classified subscribers in an IMS environment. The method comprises replacing an IMS Public -and Private User identity (IMPU/IMPI) with randomized temporary identifiers. Parties, in particular parties with 5 access to network entities outside the home-network cannot relate the observed IMPU/IMPI to the subscriber's original IMPU/IMPI as provisioned, and as the temporary IMPU changes frequently, there is no pattern (registration nor call) to be allocated to the subscriber's UE.

Abstract: There is provided a method of operating an application server of a network for controlling handling of a communication session. Abstract: A method system and device are described as a solution for a called party that receives a call from a calling party that intends to be another calling party by means of A-number spoofing. The method comprises a verification request by the called party network during a call setup, made to the network of the assumed calling party. The address of the network of the assumed calling party is derived from the Calling Party Number CgPN identifier or Calling Line Identification CLI as provided by a call setup. When the CgPN is correctly provided, a verification request with the network where the calling party resides will yield status information that the calling party indeed has a call setup with the called party. When the A-number is spoofed, the verification will not yield status information that the calling party has a call setup with the called party.

According to the invention, a repository is associated with the second node. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting the message from the first node to the second node; storing data representative of the content information in the repository of the second node; replacing, by the second node, in the message, the content information by a token; transmitting the message, comprising the routing information and the token, from the second node to the third node; retrieving, by the third node, the content information from the second node; and replacing by the third node, in the message, the token by the content information.
