  • Patent number: 8963210
Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) cell may include first and second semiconductor regions, and parallel electrically conductive lines extending above the first and second semiconductor regions. The IC cell may further include electrically conductive line contacts electrically connected to the parallel electrically conductive lines, and may include at least one first line contact between the first semiconductor region and a corresponding end of the IC cell, and at least one second line contact between the first semiconductor region and the second semiconductor region. Adjacent ones of the electrically conductive lines may be respectively coupled to one of the at least one first line contact and to one of the at least one second line contact.

  • Publication number: 20150049016
Abstract: A device and a method facilitating generation of one or more intuitive gesture sets for the interpretation of a specific purpose are disclosed. Data is captured in a scalar and a vector form which is further fused and stored. The intuitive gesture sets generated after the fusion are further used by one or more components/devices/modules for one or more specific purpose. Also incorporated is a system for playing a game. The system receives one or more actions in a scalar and a vector from one or more user in order to map the action with at least one pre stored gesture to identify a user in control amongst a plurality of users and interpret the action of user for playing the game. In accordance with the interpretation, an act is generated by the one or more component of the system for playing the game.

  • Patent number: 8733872
Abstract: A print head circuit of an inkjet printer comprising a plurality of row heating elements arranged in a plurality of rows, a plurality of column heating elements arranged in a plurality of columns, and a plurality of lateral bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), each lateral BJT is connected in between and in series with a corresponding one of the plurality of row heating elements and a corresponding one of the plurality of column heating elements, the plurality of lateral BJTs have common bases, wherein the plurality of row heating elements and the plurality of column heating elements are selectively energized to heat ink in the inkjet printer in a desired pattern for printing media, and wherein each of the plurality of lateral BJTs operates to allow the corresponding row and column heating elements that are connected in series with the lateral BJT to be energized.

  • Patent number: 8700557
Abstract: A computer-based system and method to improve the multimodal fusion output at the decision level is disclosed. The method proposes computation of a confidence weighted measure for the individual score values obtained for each modality and fuse these new updated scores to get the final decision. These confidence weights are the performance parameters (measured in terms of F-measure) during the offline training step. The process significantly increases the accuracy of the multimodal system.

  • Publication number: 20140101691
Abstract: A method and system for tracking of objects in a video is disclosed. The method of the present invention enables user to indicate a boundary-box to the identified object of interest in the broadcast video on television or any other communication media. The object indicted in the boundary-box is than tracked by the users connected in a social community network in the upcoming video frames of the broadcasted video. The tracked object is then tagged by the users in the social community network. Further, the present invention enables augmentation of the tracked object in the video by extracting additional information from the online service providers. The augmentation and tagging of the object generates metadata related to the object. The metadata generated is stored on a server to track the object in future based on the metadata related to the object.

  • Patent number: 8201014
Abstract: A system and method are provided for decoding an audio signal. In one embodiment, a first pulse is identified with a predetermined relative duration with respect to a second pulse. A sampling frequency is then calculated based on such identification. In another embodiment, an audio signal is decoded utilizing a threshold. In still yet another embodiment, a decoder is provided for decoding an audio signal utilizing a clock that is independent of the audio signal.
