  • Publication number: 20220172006
Abstract: Examples described herein include systems and methods for providing a workflow on a user device. A user device can receive image data from a camera of the user device. The device can perform object recognition to recognize an object from the image data, as well as classification of the object. The user device can match the object classification with a backend system. The example method can also include launching a workflow form associated with the matching backend system. The user device can launch a form having these fields available, either within the workflow application or within a dedicated application associated with the relevant backend system. The user device can pre-fill one or more information fields in the workflow form based on the object classification, providing the user with a head start on submitting the form to the appropriate system.

  • Publication number: 20220166858
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables packet handling based on user information included in packet headers. In a particular embodiment, a method provides, in a gateway to a network environment, establishing a first connection with a first connection endpoint outside of the network environment. The first connection is established based on authentication of user information received from the first connection endpoint. The method further provides adding the user information to a packet header of one or more first packets carrying a request to establish a second connection between the gateway and a second connection endpoint within the network environment. Also, the method provides transferring the one or more first packets towards the second connection endpoint.

  • Publication number: 20220150197
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for integrating an email client with hosted applications. An email is received from an email client. An image that is a component of the email is identified and sent to an optical character recognition (OCR) service. Extracted text is received from the OCR service. A request for an action object is then sent to a connector for an application, the action object representing a potential action that could be performed with the application based on the extracted text from the OCR service. The action object is then sent to the email client, which is configured to display a prompt allowing a user to perform the action represented by the action object.

  • Publication number: 20220138696
Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for workflow service email integration. In some examples, an email application executed on a client device receives an email message that includes a workflow micro application. The workflow micro application has a workflow information component, and evaluation component, and a workflow actions component. The evaluation component identifies a presence or an absence of a management software development kit (SDK) on the client device. The email application renders a user interface that shows or hides a workflow actions interface area based on the presence or absence of the management SDK.

  • Patent number: 11314878
Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for sharing uniform resource locators (URLs) and enforcing browser restrictions along with a shared URL. Browser restrictions can be identified by appending commands to the shared URL that instruct the receiving browser to activate certain browser restrictions. Browser restrictions can also be enforced using a URL restriction validator, which is a server process that can facilitate enforcement of browser restrictions along with a shared URL.

  • Publication number: 20220110002
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for dynamically optimizing a Flying Ad-Hoc Network (“FANET”). A server that manages the FANET can receive information relating to the network activity of user devices connected to the FANET. Examples of the type of information included can include the user devices' locations, network connection quality, and network traffic volume dedicated to a Unified Endpoint Management (“UEM”) system of an enterprise. The server can analyze the network activity information based on a set of rules to prioritize the user devices connected to the FANET. • Patent number: 11263392
Abstract: Examples described herein include systems and methods for providing user-specific previews for terms within text. An example method can include receiving tracked user behavior reflecting terms selected by a user and entered into a search. A representation of known words can be created based on the tracked user behavior. By training machine-learning models for each individual user, personalized previews can be presented when each user encounters a new body of text, such as in a webpage or email. The preview can apply to a term not previously known to the user but likely to be searched by the user, relying on content gathered from a search on a search medium that the user was likely to use. The content can be presented to the user in a graphical user interface allowing for interaction and feedback.

  • Publication number: 20220038407
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for integrating client applications with hosted applications. For example, an email can be received from an email client. It can then be determined whether the email is associated with a hosted application. In response to a determination that the email is associated with the hosted application, a request can be made to a connector for a calendar object. The calendar object is then received and returned to the email client.

Abstract: Disclosed are various aspects of voice skill session lifetime management. In some examples, an inaudible sonic check-in announcement is detected. An inaudible sonic request for check-in authentication is emitted by a voice-activated device. An inaudible sonic authentication is detected. The inaudible sonic authentication includes a service provider identifier. The inaudible sonic check-in announcement is identified as authentic based on task data retrieved based nit the service provider identifier. • Publication number: 20220028398
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing and securing an enterprise voice service accessed by an external voice assistant device. An enterprise voice assistant installed on a client device acts as an enterprise voice service for an external voice assistant device. The enterprise voice assistant receives a voice query from the external voice assistant device. The voice query is processed using a machine learning model to extract an intent and at least one slot. The extracted intent and at least one slot are used to determine whether a response to the voice query can be generated using local enterprise data that was previously received and stored by the client device from a management server. The response is generated based on the determination by using the local enterprise data or by sending the extracted intent and at least one slot to and receiving the response from the management server.

  • Publication number: 20220011743
Abstract: Systems and methods for 3D printer management can allow or reject printing of an object based on a model that is trained with machine learning. In one example, the model classifies the object according to object type. The object type can be compared against a list to determine whether to block the object from printing. The object can also be compared to previously printed objects. The object can be blocked from printing if a combination of the object and a previously printed object amounts to a threshold amount of a blacklisted item. The lists can be specific to users, such as an organizational group to which the user belongs. A print server can apply the model prior to forwarding the object to a 3D printer for printing. Both the models and the lists can evolve based on machine learning, such as based on which print decisions receive override from administrators.

  • Publication number: 20220011989
Abstract: Systems and methods for 3D printer management can verify the printing of a 3D object based on instructions inserted into the 3D object file that cause the 3D printer to perform extra actions, thus emitting certain sounds while printing. In one example, a print server can receive a request to print a 3D object. The print server can insert snippets of instructions at random into the 3D object file. A recording device can record audio of the 3D printer printing the 3D object. The recording device can send the audio to the print server. The print server can verify that the audio emitted by the 3D printer while printing the 3D object match up with the snippets inserted into the 3D object file.

  • Publication number: 20210385234
Abstract: A method for an electronic device for managing one or more browsing tabs of a browsing sessions is provided. The method receives a request for a browsing tab. The method determines whether to process the request for the browsing tab locally on the electronic device based on one or more parameters associated with at least one of the electronic device or a destination associated with the request. When it is determined to process the request locally, the method performs the browsing tab locally on the electronic device. However, when it is determined not to process the request locally, the method sends the request for the browsing tab to a remote server to perform the browsing tab remotely on the remote server.

  • Publication number: 20210357472
Abstract: Examples described herein can identify items from third-party or backend services, obtain relevant information for those items, and automatically populate hyperlinks relevant to those items in a draft email. A regular expressions search can be executed on the text of a draft email. When a match is found, the email client can request, from a server, an object associated with the matching expression. The server can obtain the object, using one or more connectors that provide access to a backend system, and provide it to the email client. The email client can extract a URL from the object and enter the URL into a links table stored on the user device. The email client can pull the URL from the links table and use it to automatically generate a hyperlink of the regular expression within the body of the draft email.
