    Abstract: The apparatus and method for flushing and draining the cooling system of a vehicle employs a drain pipe. The drain pipe connects to the bottom of the radiator, the bottom of the engine block or the lower radiator hose and has a bend of 180.degree. above both the inlet and outlet of the drain pipe. The outlet of the drain pipe is below the inlet for the drain pipe.

  • Appartaus and method for flushing and draining the coolant system of a vehicle

    Abstract: A flush cap for a vehicle cooling system wherein the flush cap has an inlet through which fresh water enters and an outlet through which dirty coolant leaves. The method employs the flush cap to flush the cooling system of the vehicle. The radiator cap can be adapted to drain a radiator using a hose attached to the outlet of the cap.

    Abstract: The apparatus and method for flushing and draining the radiator and cooling system of a vehicle employs a drain pipe which allows for draining of the radiator and flushing of the cooling system. A drain pipe which connects to the bottom of the radiator has a bend of 180.degree. near the top of the radiator but below the fluid level of the radiator. The outlet of the drain pipe is below the inlet for the drain pipe.
