Abstract: The invention relates to an installation for continuous treatment of a textile web of fabric (1) which has free longitudinal edges (2) and is stretched in the longitudinal direction (3), the longitudinal edges (2) of the web of fabric (1) being prevented from turning back by staples (8). In order to mechanize the application of the staples (8), a staple gun (17) comprising a staple magazine (15) is associated with the respective longitudinal edge (2) at a point on the installation at which the edge is not normally turned back yet.

Abstract: A method for dyeing a web of knitted fabric containing cellulose fibers is described. In order to achieve the result of being able to continuously dye the knitted goods containing cellulose fibers in the spread-out state, using a pad, as well as dry it in-line, in a subsequent dyeing hotflue, and fix the color, the knitted fabric is first caught along the longitudinal edges in continuously transporting stentering chains, and then transverse strips of glue are applied to the longitudinal edges, reinforcing the longitudinal edge regions, adjacent to the stentering chains. The glue is dried and subsequently the web that has been released from the stentering chains is passed continuously through the dyeing pad and the dyeing hotflue, spread out, fundamentally like a woven web of fabric.

Abstract: A relaxation dryer for the stress-free drying and simultaneous relaxing shrinking of a web of textile material. The material web is guided along a sinusoidal course in the relaxation channel between two air-permeable transport belts by alternately blowing the web from the top and from the bottom. In order to exert on the web an additional tumble effect, the sinusoidal curve of the web is disturbed at preset intervals by air-impermeable strips provided in one and/or the other transport belt.

Abstract: Apparatus for straightening distorted weft threads comprising a number of flexible rods (1) which form a roller shell (2) around a shaft (3). In the center of the roller shell (2), the rods (1) are connected articulatedly with a disk (5) disposed on the shaft (3) and are thereby held at a certain diameter in this region. In the region of the sides of the roller shell (2), the rods (1) are hinged via load levers (7) to sleeves (11) displaceable on the shaft (3). Via a driven spindle (15), the position of the sleeves (11) and hence also the form of the roller shell (2) can be changed.
