Patent number: 11958155Abstract: The invention is directed to a handheld work apparatus having a work tool. The work apparatus defines a longitudinal plane and includes a handle having a longitudinal axis. The blocking lever is mounted so as to be pivotable about a rotational axis. The blocking lever blocks the actuating lever in a blocking or disable position and enables the actuating lever for actuation in at least one operating enable position. In the direction of view perpendicular to the longitudinal plane, the longitudinal axis of the handle and the rotational axis of the blocking lever conjointly define an angle (?). The angle (?) lies in a range of from 10° to 60°.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Andreas Stihl AG & Co. Patent number: 8928105Abstract: A method to fabricate monolithically-integrated optoelectronic module apparatuses (100) comprising at least two series-interconnected optoelectronic components (104, 106, 108). The method includes deposition and scribing on an insulating substrate or superstate (110) of a 3-layer stack in order (a, b, c) or (c, b, a) comprising: (a) back-contact electrodes (122, 124, 126, 128), (b) semiconductive layer (130), and (c) front-contact components (152, 154, 156, 158). Via holes (153, 155, 157) are drilled so that heat of the drilling process causes a metallization at the surface of said via holes that renders conductive the semi-conductive layer's surface (132, 134, 136, 138) of said via holes, thereby establishing series-interconnecting electrical paths between optoelectronic components (104, 106, 108) by connecting first front-contact components (154, 156) to second back-contact electrodes (124, 126).Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2011Date of Patent: January 6, 2015Assignee: Flisom AGInventors: Roger Ziltener, Roland Kern, David Bremaud, Björn Keller

Patent number: 5911595Abstract: The electrical connector of this invention is for terminating the wires of a cable into an electrical insert positioned within a connector backshell at an angle to the direction of the cable. A wireing space at the rear of the backshell is provided to terminate the wires within the insert. The connector is used to provide a connector interface for a cable running along one surface of a bulkhead and turning at an angle through the bulkhead to a receptacle or connector face extending from the other face of the bulkhead. The connector face receives an associated electrical interface device. The electrical connector of this invention provides the connector in a minimum amount of clearance space on both sides of the bulkhead. Grounding and shielding of a shielded portion of the cable to the connector is also provided within the minimum clearance space. A tie cord attaches the wires of the cable to a neck of the hollow shaft of the connector backshell to provide stress relief for the wires.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 1996Date of Patent: June 15, 1999Assignees: Kern Engineering & Mfg. Co., Woven Electronics CorpInventors: Lawrence William Orr, Jr., Roland A. Kern, Richard John Kern

Patent number: 5788528Abstract: The high-speed electrical transmission cable connector assembly of this invention includes an electrical connector having a connector backshell with an internal cavity for receiving an electrical insert to interface with an electrical interface device. An adequate amount of space is provided by the internal cavity within the backshell for routing wires of the transmission cable through a neck in an entrance side of the backshell to terminate within the insert. The backshell has a truncated side and a short lateral side for saving space and weight of the electrical connector. A grounding terminal is carried within the internal cavity of the backshell adjacent to the neck on a short neck side for grounding wires within a short distance inside the backshell. An attachment and release mechanism is provided for connecting and disconnecting the interface device to the electrical insert within the backshell.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 1996Date of Patent: August 4, 1998Assignee: Woven Electronics CorporationInventors: Lawrence William Orr, Jr., Roland A.
