Abstract: Apparatus and process for guiding a fibrous material web, apparatus includes an elastic transfer belt arranged to transfer fibrous material web between an acceptance region and a delivery region, and a delivery element arranged to deliver fibrous material web to elastic transfer belt. During acceptance of fibrous material web from delivery element, elastic transfer belt is arranged to travel at a same speed as or at only a slightly higher speed than delivery element. An accepting element is arranged to accept fibrous material web from elastic transfer belt. During delivery of fibrous material web to accepting element, transfer belt is arranged to travel with a same speed as or with only a slightly higher speed than accepting element. Transfer belt is driven or slowed to be stretched more during delivery of fibrous material web to accepting element belt than during acceptance of fibrous material web from delivery element.

Abstract: A dry end of a machine for manufacturing a material web, in particular a paper or cardboard web, includes at least one convection drier, having at least one drying section. The material web passes through the at least one drying section, and is guided between two air-permeable wire belts.

The process includes vaporizing moisture in the web, creating a blanket of compressed air along a first surface of the web, and the blanket of compressed air directing the vaporized moisture in a direction from the first surface toward a second surface of the web that faces away from said blanket of compressed air.

Abstract: The horizontal reciprocating compressor is provided with a cylinder, piston and piston rod connected to the piston. An eccentric ring is mounted eccentrically within the piston and rotatably receives the piston rod. Rotation of the eccentric ring from time to time serves to move the axis of the piston rod vertically relative to the axis of the piston so as to eliminate runout.

Abstract: A control unit for model vehicles, such as model railway trains, model automobiles, etc. For independent operation of several model vehicles on a common electric circuit, it is known to allocate to each model vehicle a receiver coded in relation with hardware and controlled according to a binary word consisting of an address part and a data part. Control units of this type, however, have the disadvantage that they cannot be operated on analog electric circuits. With the invention, a control unit is proposed which independently switches off the digital control logic in the case of a change of the model vehicle from a digital trackage to an analog trackage, and enables operation of the model vehicle via an amplitude-controlled or pulse width-controlled analog signal.
