Abstract: The present invention relates to non slip, liquid impermeable moisture vapor permeable composite structures comprising a hydrophilic thermoplastic film which is coated onto a support layer, the support layer having a coefficient of friction greater than 1. The composite structures of the present invention can be used a variety of applications wherein moisture vapor permeability and anti-slipping properties are desirable, such as in absorbent articles for example breast pads, perspiration pads, diapers, sanitary napkins, panty liners and incontinence products, and also as protective bedding covers, protective clothing and the like.

Abstract: The present invention relates to disposable thin breathable breast pads having a wearer facing surface and a garment facing surface, said breast pad having a water vapour permeability of more than 100 (g)/(m2/24 hrs) and a stiffness of less than 600 grams.

Abstract: According to the present invention there is provided a personal cleansing composition comprising an anionic and/or amphoteric surfactant and a polymeric ester comprising: (i) a polyol; (ii) a monocarboxylic acid having from 4 to 30 carbon atoms; and (iii) a dicarboxylic acid. The compositions of the present invention provide improved in-use sensory feel while at the same time being exceptionally mild to the skin.

Abstract: A personal cleansing product comprising:(a) from about 0.1% to about 20% of anionic surfactant,(b) from about 0.1% to about 20% of amphoteric surfactant,(c) from about 0.5% to about 25% of a vegetable oil adduct and,(d) water.The vegetable oil adduct can be made by Diels-Alder addition of a conjugated, elaidinized form of the vegetable oil with acrylic acid, fumaric acid or maleic anhydride. The preferred adduct is maleated soybean oil. The compositions provide excellent in-use and efficacy benefits including cleansing and lathering as well as improved mildness and skin conditioning.

Abstract: A personal cleansing product comprising:(a) from about 5% to about 50% by weight of a mixed surfactant system which comprises:(i) from about 1% to about 20% by weight of composition of anionic surfactant, and(ii) from about 1% to about 20% by weight of composition of amphoteric surfactant,(b) from about 3% to about 40% by weight of an insoluble nonionic oil or wax, and(c) water,wherein the anionic surfactant and amphoteric surfactant together comprise from about 5% to about 30% by weight of the composition, the weight ratio of anionic surfactant:amphoteric surfactant is in the range from about 1:5 to about 20:1, the weight ratio of total surfactant: nonionic oil or wax is in the range from about 10:1 to about 1:3, and wherein the composition is in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion having a viscosity in the range from 10,000 to 40,000 cps and a yield point of at least 50 dyne/cm.sup.2. The cleansing products demonstrate excellent lathering, mildness, stability, rinsibility and conditioning benefits.
