  • Patent number: 8748317
Abstract: A dielectric layer is deposited on a working surface of a substrate, wherein the dielectric layer contains or consists of a dielectric polymer. The dielectric layer is partially cured. A portion of the partially cured dielectric layer is removed using a chemical mechanical polishing process. Then the curing of remnant portions of the partially cured dielectric layer is continued to form a dielectric structure. The partially cured dielectric layer shows high removal rates during chemical mechanical polishing. With remnant portions of the dielectric layer provided in cavities, high volume insulating structures can be provided in an efficient manner.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 3, 2012
Date of Patent: June 10, 2014
    Assignee: Infineon Technologies Austria AG
Inventors: Gerhard Schmidt, Daniel Schloegl, Marcella Johanna Hartl, Philipp Sebastian Koch, Roland Strasser

  • Publication number: 20090311945
Abstract: An embodiment of a planarization system for planarizing a substrate includes a planarizing surface and an encircling element formed to at least partially laterally enclose the substrate, wherein the planarizing system is configured to planarize the substrate with the substrate abutting the planarizing surface during a relative lateral movement between the substrate and the planarizing surface. The substrate is at least partially laterally enclosed by the encircling element. The encircling element abuts the planarizing surface.

  • Patent number: 6640580
Abstract: A method is provided, in which directly generated and/or indirectly formed and storable heat energy is stored in a mobile container-like latent-heat storage unit capable of being warehoused and of being delivered, the latent-heat storage unit being transported by means of a transport unit to at least one heat-energy reception unit and being arranged there in suitable form on or in the heat-energy reception unit. The possibility is thus afforded, for the first time, of transporting and utilizing heat energy over relatively long distances flexibly and on demand, but also extremely profitably.
